Chapter Seven

At the Shadow Reaper's Base...
Akira's P.O.VI

sat in my desk over looking some paper work dealing with damages,

medical bills... I tapped my head with my pencil sighing to myself,

Reckless group we have here.It's been a few days since I went with

the group of Soul Reapers to the World of Living (I forgot what the Soul

Reapers called it but I figured it out hehe) I groaned trying to get

Byakuya's face out of my mind... I'm so screwed... I'm falling for him

AGAIN! I slammed my hands onto the table and slammed my head onto the

table in the process, There is no way in hell am I going to fall for him

again, I will not allow it... I'm pretty sure he still hates me after I

did even though he gave me a speech he didn't. I sighed one more time

and slap myself in the forehead, I grabbed a sticky note. I wrote down a

note saying.-Needs turned in for Headmaster Akito-
~Akira.
I placed the note onto the documents and sat up, pulling the chair back into it's place. I walked over to the door only to have it slammed into my face.
"Ow! What the hell!?" I screeched as I rubbed my nose, knowing it might be broken.
"Sorry!" I heard the familiar female voice of my second in command of Squad One, . "Sorry Captain Kira!"
I continued to rub my nose and shook my head sighing. "You may have or you didn't broken my nose... I'll have your head if it is."
Ruroa flinched and nodded. "I know, I'm sorry once again, I didn't know you were that close... Headmaster requests your presence in his office."
I rolled my eyes. "What could he possibly want now?" Right after I got back from the World of Living, Akito decided to give me this whole lecture of him "sweet" talking into him letting me go. I just went and walked away from him, with him running and yelling at me in the process.
I poked my nose, I winced in pain and shook it off immediately... Might just be bruised.
"I do not know Captain. He just told me to come and get you." Ruroa replied as she twiddled her thumbs together.
I sighed and nodded. "Fine." I replied as I walked over to my desk and grabbed the documents, taking the note off, crumpling it into a ball, throwing it into the trash over my shoulder.
"I was going to ask you to take these to him but since I'm suppose to go there. I'll take them." Ruroa moved out of my way from the door frame and nodded as I told her.
"Yes Captain Kira." I heard her say, I started walking and looked behind my shoulder.
"There's more paperwork to be done, Ruroa." I said sternly, I saw her nodded quickly and ran into the room. I walked through the dark hallway with the documents tucked in between my right arm.... What could he possible want now?? He already scolded me about yesterday.. If it's another puny errand to run... I'm throwing something at his face. I took a right turn and a couple more steps I was at Akito's workplace or should I say.. His bedroom.
I knocked onto the door.
"Enter." I heard his voice and opened the door, walking in. Closing the door behind me, I saw him sitting at his desk. He seemed to be writing out something. I cleared my throat, which broke his focus. He looked up and grinned at me.
"Ahhhh there's my favorite person in the world!" I rolled my eyes at him as he got up from his seat.
"Get to the point Akito. Whattya want?" I said as I walked over to him, placing the documents onto his desk. I was only a few inches shorter then he was but... Sheesh, he's tall.
"That hurt Aki-poo." He faked shocked/hurt. I gritted my teeth and glared at him... I hated when he called me that.
"Scary." Akito said as he took a step back.
"Thanks for the compliment." I snapped at him with sarcasm, he just looked at me. "But seriously, What did you call me in for? You already lectured/scolded me about yesterday."
"Well." He sat down on his bed and gestured me to sit down next to him, I, of course refused and stood a couple feet away from him.
"My fiance', Bianca, is coming to stay with us for a few months." I groaned as soon as he said her name. That plastic doll is coming here... AGAIN. Me and her well... We are not fond of each other , she thinks I'll steal Akito from her which I do not intend to do that, I mean come on. He's my boss, after all. Plus I don't like him in that sort of way, she probably hears rumors about me and Akito being together. We are NOT. We work together that's it, nothing more.
"Yay us." I replied with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.
Akito just sighed and scratched the back of his neck.
"Could you possibly be nice for once towards her?" Akito looked at me with pleading eyes. "Since she's gonna be staying with us."
"Me? Nice? I'm not a vicious monster Akito."
"Yes, I know. I just noticed you guys don't get along that much. You and Kisumi get along better then you and her."
"Well I have two reasons for that." I replied as I put a hand on my hip.
"One: Kisumi and I work together since we started this group. Two: Your fiance' thinks I'm trying to steal you away from her." I felt my cheeks heat up when I told him that.
"Oh." Was the response I got but that smirk that was forming onto his lips.
"Do you find me that attractive Akira?" He posed on the bed and stared at me still smirking.
"Oh god. My eyes." I shielded my eyes as I turned around.
"You're so mean!" I heard him say and laughed quietly. I heard the sound of the bed like the sound when someone gets off it. I felts muscular arms wrapped around my waist and started lifting me up in the air.
"Akito! Put me down!" That only made it worse... He started spinning, He was started laughing around like a maniac as I thrashed around in his hold, I felt the heat of a blush on my face.
"Nah!" He stopped spinning and I took the chance, I slammed my elbow into his stomach earning a grunt from him.
"Okay... You didn't have to do that." I heard him, as he held his stomach.
"Well you didn't put me down so pain was involved." I brushed myself off.
"Why the stomach though?" I felt his eyes on me as I stared at the ground with my arms cross, the blush was still there.
"I could've kneed you in the groin." I looked at him.
"Errr... Right." He shielded himself and I laughed. "Thanks for not kneeing me there."
I bowed and gave him a smirk, he just rolled his eyes like usual.
"So we are off topic. When is the she-devil coming?" I saw him giving me a glare, I just smiled a bit.
"Today." I stared at him.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER YOU BAKA!?" I clawed at my face and groaned.
"Well I just remembered at the last second, sheesh woman."
"You always remember at the last second." I ran a hand through my bangs and tighten my ponytail.
He just smiled at me and I just rolled my eyes. There was a awkward silence between us until we heard the door opening to see...
"Akitooooooo!" I turned to the girly voice belonging to, She ran as pushing me in the process. She ran right into Akito, hooking her arms around his neck. "I missed you!"
I brushed myself off and gagged lightly. I heard him chuckle.
"Hey there Bianca. Missed you to."
"Sorry I was a bit late, had a bit trouble finding the place again."
He nodded. Time to escape!
I stood there awkwardly. "In that case." I spoke up finding them both staring right at me.
"Hmph. Akira." She turned around with her arms crossed.
"Pl- Bianca." I said.
"Miss Bianca you mean." She snapped at me and I could feel Akito's eyes on me.
"Uhhh... Ladies let's not get hasty here." Akito said quickly.
I just chuckled. "Akito if she wants to say something, let her. I'm never gonna call her 'Miss' anyways." Bianca just gave me the most doubtful death glares.
"Don't get into this, sweetie." She sweetly said to Akito. "Once me and Akito are married you're gonna have to Akira, and you won't be able to change it HA!"
I rolled my eyes. "You're not worthy of my time arguing here. Now if you'll excuse me, I have important stuff to do." I turned on my heel. But I was stopped to hear . Bianca gasped at me and growled
"What are those things!?" I heard her say, I just smirked and took out my sword. I turned around and held it at my side. Akito was being very quiet at this time.
"Well as 'Captain' of this group along side Kisumi, I have to do and go do missions, paperwork, keeping your quiet fiance' over there safe. Does that answer your question?"
She looked at me dumbfounded and just huffed, wrapping her arms around Akito. "You go do that Aluna. If Akito didn't stop me I would have you stripped from your position!"
I opened my mouth but closed it immediately, I saw Akito silently nodded towards my direction, confirming she was serious.
"Akira how about you go and take Bianca's bags to the guest room." I cursed underneath my breath and nodded.
"Sure thing." I said as sweetly as I could.
"Awwww but I was thinking I could stay in here with you." Bianca groaned... I held back my laughter.
"Ehh... That's not a really good Idea, sweet heart. You see, since I will most likely be out doing some business with our buddies the Soul Reapers. I would likely be not be here in my room and more out there. I would feel better if you were in the guest so if any of those guys tried to break in. They would try to get into my room to see if I have any plans and such. You see where I'm going with this?" Akito looked at her.
Biance sighed sadly and stood on her tip toes to peck him on the lips. "Alright, you have a good reason."
"Wooot! Now let's get your bags." Akito smiled as he looked over to me, gesturing towards the door. I nodded as I sheathed my sword and walked over to the doors... I didn't know what happened because when I opened the door... All I saw was bright pink cases falling over me.
I let a groaned in pain as I fished myself out of the cases, I heard footsteps when the cases fell on me.
"Jeez! How many do you have!?" I screeched. Waving my hands in frustration.
"Well. Enough for me to live here."
"You mean stay Bianca." Akito said as he walked over with a outstretched hand towards me, I took it, he pulled me up onto my feet."Sure sure." I heard her mumble.
"This is gonna take forever." I said as I looked over the scattered suit cases. "Might as well start now."
Akito,me and Bianca all hold up the cases and went to the guest rooms. After maybe 5 hours of hauling those catastrophes we were done. Bianca told us she would like rest up so me and Akito left the room. Akito nodded me a bye and went jogging back to his room.
"This... Day... Was.. HORRIBLE!" I muttered underneath my breath and sighed as I walked towards my bedroom, me and Kisumi shared a room so I saw her standing in the mirror putting her hair up, a towel was wrapped around her waist. Must've got out of the shower.
"Hey Akira... God... You look terrible." Kisumi said as she looked at me."I feel terrible... My life flashed before my eyes. Cause little miss Bianca came to town... Almost killing me with her suit cases." I sat down on my futon and took my boots off.Kisumi sighed and took out her pajamas. "How long this time?"
I looked up at her and took of my jacket. "This time. Few months... Ugh."
"We are doomed." I nodded in reply towards her, I finished undressing and took a shower. I got out after maybe twenty minutes, Kisumi was already asleep, I wrapped the towel around me and fished out my pajamas, I put it on and went outside the window. I sat on the roof and looked up at the stars with my arms behind my head. I sighed and after a few minutes I slowly drifted to sleep... Only to be awaken by someone touching my arms.
"Akira" I heard a husky voice said, I jumped up from my position, slipping the person, I jumped onto the guy and raised my fist to him.
"Akira!" I heard him say and before I knew it... The guy I was about to punch was...
"Byakuya?!" I said in shock.
