The song is about someone who neglects their own needs for others. They keep helping others, even if the other one didn't return the favor.They keep hiding their emotions, keeping it locked up inside, until it builds up so much, they don't know how to feel it anymore, making them seem cold. They want to overcome their emotions, but is unable to, due to its weight, and how it will always return without someone's help. They keep wondering when their time will end, but they want to keep fighting, in order to keep others safe.
