Once Daenyra got back to her chambers, she had her maids draw her a warm bath. She was sweaty and a bit muddy from her fight with Aegon. As she got undressed, she recalled the fight in her mind, as if she was watching it happen from another person's eyes. She had won, yes, but her moves still needed improvement. She was a fast learner but she was still a child. She decided that she would train her arms more so that her moves would get flawless sooner than later. She was a girl. She had to work harder than any boy, otherwise she won't be taken seriously, reduced to her gender instead of her skills. Still lost in her thoughts she entered the tub.

"Princess be careful!" The maids looked at her with distress in their eyes. Daenyra sat there, blinking at the comment? Was there something in the room that she should fear? "The water should still be way too hot..." the main maid looked at her with wide eyes, seeing the Princess wouldn't move the tiniest bit.

"Oh no, do not worry, it is perfect '' Daenyra replied with a sweet innocent smile. The maids exchanged looks before nodding to their Princess and preparing the oils Daenyra preferred for her body and hair. The maid then delicately rubbed Daenyra's smooth skin with the oils, giving her that scent of white roses and a hint of fruity aroma, and washing her hair of the sweat and mud from the training yard.

Once bathed and dried, the Princess went to her bed where she saw a black gown embroidered with red dragon symbols at the end of her skirts and her light sleeves. On her waist sat a thin golden belt with rubies hanging from it on her front, like droplets. Then she went to her vanity where her maids could braid her hair, all the front of her hair had been tied behind her head with braids that were eventually joining as one and let loose on her back. The rest of her moon silver locks were cascading freely on her back. Once fully dressed, she got out of her chambers and went towards the Queen's solar where she was expected to have lunch with all her family, apart from her mother and brothers of course, since they wouldn't arrive before the afternoon of the next day. The large doors were pushed open by the knights guarding the Queens' solar and when she entered she noticed she was one of the first to get there, being greeted only by Alicent and Helaena. She curtsied before the Queen and the Princess

"Your Grace, Princess." Then silence, she raised her eyes back up to look at the two before her, exchanging knowing looks before the two young girls burst out of laughter and the Queen cracked a loving smile to the two girls. Daenyra went to sit besides Helaena, listening to the Princess rambling about her insect friends, listening intently and asking some questions to the Princess, who was overjoyed to give her all the answers she had. Oh how she had missed her friend, Daenyra was the only one she felt comfortable around, the only one that wouldn't treat her like she was mad. After a while, the rest of the family arrived, so everyone took their respectful seats around the table. Queen Alicent on one side with Helaena on her left, Aegon sitting on the right of the still empty seat that will be used by the King. On the other side of the table were Laenor, Daenyra and then Amond right beside her. When Rhaenyra and her brother would arrive, they wouldn't be seated together anymore, so they took this opportunity to sit together until then. Then arrived the king, Daenyra's grandsire. Everyone got up in respect as he walked in. Seeing Daenyra and Aemond sitting together brought joy to him, the symbolism of a bridge between the two sides of one same family, one family that had never been so divided since the instauration of the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros. As Viserys took his seat next to his wife, the servants started to bring the different plates of food on the table. Wine was served to the adults and different kinds of juices brought to the children, everyone toasted cheerfully before digging in the various plates. The meal was overall joyful. Daenyra enjoyed herself more than she had in weeks. On Dragonstone she felt unwanted, here she felt loved, her grandsire would listen to her stories about the Cannibal, while Alicent would invite her to her daily meeting with Helaena. She would exchange looks with Aemond too, laughing at his jokes and listening intently as he narrated his latest lessons while she was away. Even Aegon seemed to get along with everyone, which was something his mother hadn't seen for a while.
