"The next time we meet, you're going down!" Todd seriously says with his clenched fist.
"I'll be waiting, even if it means getting your butt kicked again," Natalie says, and the five guys growl at her.
"Let's just go," Jade tells her older brother while looking at Natalie.
"One of these days, our brother will defeat you, demon. But until then, we're leaving," Jessie tells her with fear in her eyes.
"I wouldn't bet on it," Natalie tells her. She watches the siblings leave without saying anything else to her. Once they are out of her sight, Natalie looks at the guy who is still on the ground.
"Are you alright?" Natalie asks, approaching him with a serious look.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Just a few scratches here and there," the dark blue haired guy answers her questions. He looks at the ground.
"That's good to hear," Natalie sighs, scratching the back of her head. The guy looks up and sees her standing there in front of him.
"So, are you really a demon?" the dark blue haired guy curiously asks.
"Sadly yes, I am," Natalie bluntly tells him. The guy's eyes light up for some reason.
"That's so cool!" the dark blue haired guy exclaims with a childish tone.
"You don't mind me being a demon?" Natalie asks, with a bit of hope in her voice.
"Well...yeah. I don't mind having a demon friend," the dark blue haired guy chuckles with an excited look.
"You want to be friends with me?" Natalie asks in disbelief, and he nods.
"Yeah, you're one cool demon," the dark blue haired guy comments. Natalie's eyes go wide open at his statement. Natalie can't believe a human that she met wants to be friends with a demon like her. It makes her smile at him.
"What is your name?" Natalie asks, and he smiles back.
"I'm Ross, what's your name?" the dark blue haired guy introduces himself.
"I'm Natalie," Natalie answers, emotionlessly.
"If you don't mind, will you help me up?" Ross asks, reaching for her hand.
"Sure thing," Natalie tells him before she grabs his hand and pulls him up.
"Thanks Natalie," Ross grins.
"No problem," Natalie shrugs, letting go of his hand. "He reminds me of Nikki, at some point," she thinks.
"Hey Natalie? Can I ask you something?" Ross asks, causing Natalie to stare at him curiously.
"What is it?" Natalie asks, wondering what he wants to ask.
"Why are you wearing armor when it's not Halloween?" Ross asks, and Natalie groans at his question.
"That's the second time a human asked me that...The truth is, I have always worn this armor since birth. So, what the hell is Halloween?" Natalie sighs.
"You always wear that? And you don't know what Halloween is?" Ross asks in shock.
"Yes, I have always worn that, but no, I have not heard of Halloween. So, tell me already," Natalie mumbles angrily. She looks away from him.
"Halloween is a holiday that happens on October 31, where every house gives out candy to the kids that have dressed up in costumes. The teenagers would also dress up and go to their friends' parties. There are those people that don't want to be involved with that kind of stuff," Ross explains.
