I was looking at social media until I heard knocking on my backyard. I saw Subin and I smiled as I opened the door to greet him.
"Yo." I said.
"Hi Sujung." He said and started to walk out of the backyard.
"Oh, uh, could you like guard me from that girl when we go out if she's here in the restaurant?" I asked as I was walking besides him.
"Um, I can call my security guard?" He said, a slight frown on his face.
"Not necessarily, when we hold hands and stuff." I said and looked around.
"Sure." He said and unlocked his car and I went on the right side of his car.
We drove to the 'Summer Lane' restaurant and when we arrived, we stepped out oh the car and wore a mask.
"Ready?" Subin said and opened the door on the left side and slammed the car door.
He waited for me until I slammed the car door and begun to walk towards the doors of the restaurant front entrance.
We opened the door along with Subin opening the door for me.
"Thank you." I said and stepped in the entrance of the small door.
Then I pushed opened the second entrance and noise surrounded the entrance of the restaurant's front lane.
"Well." I heard Subin say under his breath.
"C'mon, I think no one will notice." I said and stepped in the door wider and looked at him to come on.
He looked back at the door, shrugged, and then walked towards me.
"Oh, hello. What can I get you started with?" A guy asked when he noticed us.
"We'll just have water. What're the meals? Sorry, we didn't read the menu before we stepped in." Subin said.
"That's alright, well, here's the menu. I'll be right back with your waters." He said and walked back.
"Ok, let's see the menu." I said and begun to read the menu.
As I was reading off of the menu, the restaurant went completely silent.
I looked over on my shoulder and saw people staring at Subin and I.
I shrugged it off and said to Subin, "I think I'm gonna have the 'Corn Fritters." I said as I read off of the menu.
"And I'll take the 'Bacon Waffle Egg Benedict." He said and closed the booklet on the menu.
"Ok, I have the 'Corn Fritters' and the 'Bacon Waffle Egg Benedict. Is that right?"
"Yes, that's correct." I said.
"Alright, I'll be right back with the food." The waiter said and looked at the note before walking off.
I sighed and looked at Subin while he was looking at his phone.
"I'm gonna wash my hands really quick." I said and stud up to use the bathroom.
"I'll wait for you." He said and put his phone away.
In four minutes, I went to the bathroom and unlocked the stall and washed my hands.
Subin was closing his eyes while I walked back and sat back down.
"Do you wanna wash your hands too?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll go." He said and stud up quickly.
"Oop." I said as I saw the waiter bring out our food while Subin was still walking.
"Here's that for you." He said as he put my plate of food right directly in front of me.
Then Subin walked back and saw my plate.
"That looks good." He said.
"Yeah, I'll wait until you get your food." I said and looked straight ahead.
He nodded and walked out of sight. In three minutes he walked back and looked on the right to see the waiter giving Subin's food too.
"Ok, let's eat." I said and begun to look at the corn fritta.
I looked at Subin and he was slowly eating.
