I have no idea why what Calum said bothered me so much that it had to bring me to tears. How can he say that about his best friend Luke like that. Probably because he's right...I don't love Luke, I just love that he gives me attention that I've needed or been wanting. I don't know, I just need to know what Luke wants to talk about.

I take my phone out and reply to Luke "about what?" I hit send and moments later he replies "I'll see you after the graduation ends" wait so he's here? as I was about to reply, the restroom door opens and Chanelle walks in.

"Hey are you okay?"

I nod "yeah I'm over it" I lie. I can hold a grudge and I don't know how long this will last.

"Okay? Well we should get going, it's about to start."

I look at my phone debating if to respond or not. I decide not to and just wait till after. I put my phone in my back pocket and looked at myself in the mirror one last time and walked away with Chanelle following.

"Congratulations to the class of 2015! You are now high school graduates!" now that the principal's speech is over, everyone throws their caps in the air and hug their friends and also start crying. I roll my eyes at their dramatic actions, their going to see each other at the after party jesus christ.

Chanelle comes up to me excitedly

"Finally! We're done with high school."

"Yeah I know." I said

We started heading towards my family.

"Now it's off to college. You're going to college right Jas?"

Immediately I shake my head "Hell no! Thirteen years of school is enough for me. I probably won't even get into college even if I wanted to."

"JASMINE!" My mom shouts. She walks over to me then starts hugging me and starting to cry. "My baby is all grown up."

"Please stop, we're in public."

"I'm sorry it's just, you know how sentimental I get."

She releases me and Zayn comes up to me and ruffles my hair "congrats little sis you're done with the first part" I grab his hand and bend his fingers back "don't touch my hair Malik" I growl while he whimpers with pain and takes his hand away.

I look around trying to look for Luke on my tippy toes. It's killing me not knowing what he wants to talk to me about.

"I hope you're not looking for that boy umm what's his name? Duke?"

"It's Luke dad and since when have you had a problem with him?" before he answers someone taps my shoulder. I turn to meet eyes with Luke. He smirks "hey high school graduate." I give him a huge hug like if I haven't seen him in forever but really I saw him last night.

"Umm I'm going to find my family" Chanelle said

I let go of Luke and smiled. "I didn't think you were coming"

"Yeah it's not really my scene but anything for my girl." he winks

I blush "so what did you need to talk to me about?"

"Umm-"

"Jasmine we have to go" my dad says and pulls me from Luke.

"What the hell!?" I try and yank my arm from my dad "what do you think you're doing!?" I yell now causing a scene.

"Get away from that kid Jasmine, he's not good for you."

"And what do you know about what's good for me or not!? You've never been here for us! You left us for no reason! I mean I don't see why I should care, you guys aren't even my real parents!" I hear gasps. "That's right! I'm adopted since I was 13! They are actually my aunt and uncle! They have me call them my parents so they could at least pretend they had kids because they can't have any!"

"Jasmine enough!" Zayn yells with a stern voice and I see the look on my dad's or should I say Uncle George's face, he looked hurt, like I even care. I turn to see my mom well Aunt Patricia and she's in tears, as always.

"We'll finish this discussion at home" George says.

I back away from him before he grabs me "I'm not riding with you guys, I'm going with Luke." I ran off to find Luke before anybody said anything. I look everywhere for him and I find him having a deep conversation with Calum. "Luke I'm riding with you. My family are being idiots." he looks at Calum then back at me "Uh okay, bye Cal. Talk to you tonight."

We walk away with me not even acknowledging Calum. "Hey Jas!" I hear Calum say which I ignore. "Jasmine I know you can hear me." He grabs my arm and turns me around. "don't fucking touch me."

"I'm sorry Jas about-"

"Bullshit" I say.

He just stands there not knowing what to say. I don't know what's up with me today, all I know is I want to get the hell out of here.

Luke holds my hand and leads me to his car.

"Hey babe, are you okay?" he asks.

I look at him then look to the ground "no, I just want to run away, go somewhere far and leave this shitty place. Lets go somewhere far please Luke. Go to Vegas and get married or something." I look up at him giving the puppy eyes.

"I wish I could babe but I can't, you're not 18 yet and I know your parents won't allow that.."

"Who gives a crap about what they think. They're not even my real parents."

Luke sighs. He knows about my whole family situation along with Calum and Chanelle, they just don't know the real reason why. He opens the car door for me and I slide in.

I sigh while I feel my phone vibrate. It's Zayn, "You're in huge trouble. Don't do anything stupid that can make it worse."  I turn my phone off so I won't be getting calls from my so called parents.

Luke gets in the car and starts it. "So where are we going?" I ask.

He smiles "Are you in the mood to party? Because there's a party at my friend's house if you want to go?" I nod and he kisses me and then drives off.
