After the two of them calmed their tears, her mother picked the phone up and began to talk to her daughter. "Amatae...dear. Why didn't you say anything to us? Why did you wait until now to do this?"

"Because I've been taught that to get people to think clearly they need time alone somewhere where everything is taken from them. Sure it's been a few months...but a few months could seem like years in the wrong place. I miss the parents I once had that would talk to me and love me like they would my sister and brother. Not the ones that ignore me and make me feel like I'm a disgrace to the family." Amatae stated sadly

Her mother frowned before she sighed out. "Tae...sweetie, we never meant to keep you from what we've done with your siblings."

"I figured, I blame most of it on Emilia. She knew where I was and she never got me or if I did know she'd always lock me up somewhere and no one would get me until Steven would unlock the door."

Her parents eyes widen hearing what was said to them. "Emilia made this happen?" Her father asked

Amatae nodded her head sadly before her grandfather took the phone and spoke up. "Amaya, you better have learnt your lesson child, I'm sick and tired of dealing with your bull shit. I thought you learnt when Zeff had fucked up but you've done worse than him not even looking out for your own children!"

"F-Father...I...I'm sincerely sorry about this." Amaya said sadly

"You better be, Amatae needs both of her parents and you need to see Emilia for who she is. She isn't exactly the brightest of students and you'll see just who deserves what soon enough." Amatae's grandfather stated

Amaya looked confused. "W-What do you mean? Emilia is a brilliant young girl."

Amaya's father scoffed. "Yeah right! And I'm a king of a magic kingdom...Think real good daughter. When was the last time you or Enzo ever saw Emilia study or do anything academic wise?"

"Just a few days before I was taken away. She was at her desk."

Amatae looked up at her grandfather who looked down at her-neither one of them believed Amaya. Enzo could tell where this was going and took the phone from his wife. "Alright just get to the point Randy, you obviously know something that we've been ignorant to for the last five or so years."

"Amatae you tell your parents the truth. Tell them your scholar scores and such." Her grandfather stated looking down to Amatae as he held the phone out to the young brunette female

Amatae nodded her head before she took the phone and held it with both of her hands. "Mother...father. For the last three years I've been student body president and class rep for my class. I'm also on the top of my class with all high marks. It was why I was selected to represent the school I went to in a transfer program between my school and a highly developed school in Japan. I'm also the captain of the scholastic team, science club and book club that the school holds. Not to mention many other clubs that go from music to sports as well."

"And your sister surely your sister has good grades too?" Amaya asked

Amatae rolled her eyes. "She's twentieth in the class, refuses to get tutoring by me and enjoys being crass with boys-changing it up every three weeks which you two didn't seem to even acknowledge." Amatae said with a sigh

Both of her parents were appalled to hear what they had from Amatae and frowned before they had talked things over themselves as her grandfather placed a hand on her shoulder. "You're doing well, if they can redeem themselves I will bail them out."

Amatae nodded her head as she looked up at her grandfather. "Okay. Thank you for coming here with me, but I have to ask what did Uncle Zeff do that made you be disappointed in him?"
