Emilia was shocked that she was the one that was grounded, what about Amatae? She ignored her! Doesn't she get a punishment too?! Emilia shook her head as she balled her fists up on either side of her. "You can't seriously tell me that you're just going to ignore the fact that she ignored me! I'm her elder sister she shouldn't ignore me!" Emilia screeched out pissed

Her grandfather back handed Emilia making her fall to the ground. "Don't talk back to me young lady, and that's me being nice. Get your ass upstairs and not a word more."

Emilia teared up as she held the side of her face, she couldn't believe that her grandfather actually hit her! Emilia got up and she rushed to her room in tears. Amatae said or did anything in regards to her elder sister, it served her right for acting like a bitch towards her. Her grandfather then placed a hand softly on the top of her head.

"Let's get you new glasses Amatae."

"Yes grandfather, may Gakushu come with to help me? I fear I'll run into something otherwise."

"Of course, he cared for your well being so I see no reason for him to stay behind." Her grandfather said before he looked to Steven. "Keep an eye on your elder sister, make sure she stays in her room and doesn't leave. If she leaves contact Amatae or I."

"Yes sir, I'll keep a keen eye on her!" Steven said saluting his grandfather he then rushed off towards the steps.

The Kneeve grandparents took Amatae to get glasses with Gakushu by her side, helping her out since she was legally blind. Gakushu was surprised on how the family treated one another and knew never to question Amatae ever again. When it was just Amatae and Gakushu in the limo due to her grandparents making a stop somewhere Gakushu placed his hand on hers.

"Amatae, tell me why did you have me here instead of your brother?"

"Because I knew my grandparents would do this, I know what they're doing and it's not needed. I'm not materialistic like Emilia is." Amatae said with a sigh before she leaned herself up against his arm. "Plus I need to talk to you and I don't think I will be able to when we get home."

"Talk to me? Talk to me about what Amatae?"

"You see...I was freaked out about getting close to you because I didn't know what Emilia chose to do when she had ended up staying in Japan. But knowing she chose the same route she chose when she was here and sleep with the worst guy out there-I know where I fall. I'm always picking up her slack and doing things she doesn't want to do due to being her younger twin." Amatae said with a sigh She then shut her eyes before she laced her fingers with his. "But Emilia has no choice but to deal with being the Heiress of the Kneeve family, as much as I'd like it-it's not mine to take. I'd like to live my life without so much pressure and strife on me. I'd like to follow my heart and mind where it takes me."

"Which would be where Amatae?" Gakushu asked curiously

Amatae opened her eyes before she looked up at him and she kissed him on the lips. His eyes widen a bit before he instantly kissed her back as he placed his freehand over the side of her face as he moved himself closer to her. The soft sweet kiss turned into more as he brushed his thumb against the side of her face. Amatae was surprised a bit that he was taking the kiss so far but internally smiled as she went from holding his hand to wrapping her arms around his neck and going onto his lap as she deepened the kiss making him groan out as he felt her move on top of him.

"Amatae..." He said softly to her

"Shit...I'm sorry did I accidentally turned you on Gakushu?" Amatae asked concerned as she pulled away from him

"Yeah, but it's fine. As long as that's not the last time you kiss me like that."

She smiled at him and she kissed him on the lips again. "Gakushu, I love you. There will be more times for us to do stuff like that I promise."

"I'll hold you to that."

Within time Amatae's grandparents came back to the limo and Amatae had sat back down beside Gakushu. As Amatae had thought, Amatae's grandparents had gotten her a few gifts to make up for her not celebrating her birthday with either one of them that year. Amatae thanked them and kept to herself about not wanting such gifts-she wasn't Emilia. Emilia would bitch about not getting enough for their birthday-but she was already greedy and wanting things for herself.

Amtae soon got new glasses that would be in within two weeks, so until then she had to wear contacts. As she had them in she felt strange since she had worn glasses since she was a mere child. Not having glasses on was something she wasn't expecting to have happen. When they got home her grandparents made dinner that night so Amatae just watched a movie with Gakushu as she cuddled with the strawberry-blond male. She was content with having him be so close to her, it almost brought a smile back to her face.

At dinner Emilia was salty towards her sister, especially after hearing that She got presents from her grandparents instead of her. Where were her presents? Why did she get left out? It didn't make any sense to her and that upset her a lot. But she knew she couldn't go back to Japan, her grandfather had her passport. After eating dinner Amatae talked to her grandparents about a serious matter.

"Grandma, Grandpa...do you think that it'll be okay with you if I go and see my parents?"

They looked to her confused. "Why would you do that? They ignored you for years sweetie?" Her grandmother asked

"I want to because I want to see why they have. It's been a while since I've talked to them directly...this may be my only chance to give them something to redeem themselves as my parents." Amatae stated

Her grandfather stood up placing his jacket on. "I'm going with you, I don't wish for you to be alone when you are talking with them."

Amatae nodded her head as she gave her grandfather a smile. "Very well Grandfather. I need a legal guardian with me anyways right?" She asked

"That's very true." he stated before he motioned for her to go with him.

She quickly rushed to follow her grandfather happily. They drove to where her parents were being held and they were given an hour to talk to her parents face to face. Once she saw her parents, her parents immediately began to have teary eyes as her father grabbed the phone. "Little Tae..."

"Hello father, remember me now?" She asked sadly

"R-Remember...how could I ever forget my precious princess?" her father asked confused

Amatae sighed out and shut her eyes. "Think back papa...think real hard. From the time that I was ten years old till now, for holidays, birthdays and events. Where was I?"

Her father's brown eyes widen before he looked down, he realized then what his beloved young daughter was talking about. They had forgotten all about her. For years...For years it had seemed like she wasn't even part of the family he had built with his beautiful wife. His hands shook before he broke down crying, he couldn't believe that he had forgotten one of his daughters. How did this happen...Why did this happen? Amatae didn't deserve such a thing,

"Amatae..I'm so sorry. I never meant for this to happen to you. To have you go through so much distress like this." her father said through his sobs.

Amatae was pretty surprised to see her father so broken down. It made her wonder just how much of a toll did it take on his emotions knowing that he had forgotten one of his own dear daughters like he had. Her mother tried to comfort him and they talked away from the phone for a bit before her mother's eyes went straight onto hers in shock. Her mother mouthed 'I'm sorry' before crying herself.
