Graduation is tonight! I can’t believe the school year is finally over. Dad keeps pushing me to go to his colleague and I keep telling him that his colleague is just not for me. Mom just thinks I am a slow learner. “It is a wonder that she has made it this far.” I am not slow I just skipped a lot of class, I am one of 12 to be graduating in there twenties and it is not all that uncommon. I think I am going to take a break from school at least for a year. I have not told my parents yet but I do not really want to hear them complain. Can not wait until tonight. Woke up at noon, way later then I wanted to so I have got to get things done faster.

Putting down her pen and journal Faye begins her day by picking up the list she made last night.

1. Get dressed (preferable some kind of ocean color)

2. Eat breakfast (Trix if any)

3. Brush teeth (twice and mouthwash)

4. Go shopping for something to wear to the ceremony

5. Shower and stylize hair

6. Get dressed in new outfit and accessories accordingly

7. Go to the school for the last time at 8pm

8. Graduation at 9pm

9. After graduation party at Telas’ (at the beach)

10. Watch four, five, and six of the Star Wars trilogies (just because I can)

Searching through her closet she comes up with plain short sleeve sea foam green shirt, teal pants and a green vest to go with. For her shoe choice she has to decide between sea foam green wedges, teal flats or green spikes. Seeing how it is a warm day out she decides to go with the teal flats. “Get dressed, check” Now on to number two.” Walking downstairs she begins to feel light headed. Swaying off balance she almost crashes into her father who as is just so happens was coming to wake her up.

Catching her he says “Easy their Princess don’t want you to fall and hit your head.”

“ I’m ok dad, guess I’m just excited is all” though I still feels lightheaded.

“ I can understand, it’s a big day today. So are you going to go hang out at Telas’ after graduation or do you want us to throw you a party?”

“ I think I am going to go to Telas’, were having a beach party. If that’s alright with you?”

“ It’s fine with me I just think you mother will be upset you know how she is when it comes to throwing party’s” nervously laughing, as if at any moment the devil her self would appear to chew off his ear.

“ Yeah I know but she always goes a little over board in one way or another.”

“ I HEARD THAT!” her mom yelled from the kitchen. “ IF YOU DIDN’T WANT A PARTY JUST SAY SO, BUT LEAVE MY AWESOME PLANNING SKILLS OUT OF IT! OH AND ANOTHER THING BREAKFAST IS READY!”

“ Guess we upset the dragon.” Faye whispered

“ Looks like there is no avoiding her today.” Sighing her heads back down the stairs and towards the kitchen.

“ Well guess I can cross off number two, though technically I am not eating Trix.”

Following the mouth watering smell Faye heads to the kitchen to find to her surprise that the dinning room and kitchen have been turned into and underwater spectacle. It was beautiful her mom had arranged teal and sea foam candles throughout the two rooms followed by shells and sand. And to Faye’s surprise it looked as if the furniture was made from coral. (For you see most people have favorite colors, not Faye the Ocean is her favorite color. Which her parents learned along time ago not to ask her what her favorite color was because she would reply the Ocean, and not the color of the Ocean but in fact the Ocean itself) Her parents really went all out to make the day very special.
