“Your What!?” Tela yelled through the phone.
Holding the phone away Faye replies, “I’m going as his date.”
“Are you serious he finally asked you?” sounding overjoyed.
Nervously replies, “Yeah, I hope it’s ok.”
“Are you kidding,” almost sounding kiddy.
“Hang on Tela I’m going to put you on speaker,” Putting the phone down Faye began to rummage through her closet.
“Hey Faye, you still there?” once again yelling.
Rummaging says, “Yeah I’m here, just trying to find something to wear.”
“What’s wrong with what you had on?” sounding very confused.
“Fainted remember.”
“Right sorry, um what do you have in your hand right now?”
Having two dresses in her hand, picks the one that looks the best, “Blue mini dress.”
“Send me a picture.”
Taking out her cell phone snaps a picture, “Ok sending now.”
“No don’t like it, pick something else,” sounding unhappy.
Looking at the other dress in her hand, “Well I have a semi-long purple dress.”
“Have I seen it before?” unsure.
“Yeah, I wore it to my own birthday party last year remember?”
“Oh yeah, yes you should totally wear that one,” pleased to help.
“Are you sure?” Very uncertain.
“Totally sure, Diamond couldn’t keep his eyes off you when you were wearing that one.”
Feeling slightly embarrassed and shocked replies, “Alright then I will wear the purple dress. So then I guess I will see you at the party?”
“Sure, sure. See you there. Got to go, totally have to figure out what I am wearing. Love you bunches. Bye, bye”
“Bye” hangs up the phone.
Still not sure if she made a good choice heads to the bathroom. Stepping on the cold tile floor decides to jump into the shower. With the sonic rhythmic pulse of the water Faye tries to stop her pounding headache. While in the shower the electric kicks off startling her. Turning off the shower Faye stumbles out and hits her right big toe on the wall cabinet by the sink. “Ooh that really hurts,” while trying to find her towel she notices a light coming from under the door. Curious as to what it was she finds and wraps her towel around her then slowly opens the door and finds something that should not be in her room. She was standing on a cliff staring at a vast blue-green ocean, not thinking clearly runs and jumps off the cliff to the waiting swirling water and sinks deeper and deeper.
While sinking into the depths of the cold darkening blue ocean Faye notices a building not to far away. Swimming towards the building she gets a feeling of deja-vu. The building was incased in a greenish purplish blue coral. The building was a light green sea foam color, it looked a lot like her two story house. Swimming even closer she notices that the house and coral is actually inside a bubble, it looked like an odd force field type of thing. Swimming through the field which felt like wiggling through Jell-O, she notices that she is no longer in water but is in fresh air and there was a nice cool breeze.
Feeling no need to swim any more walks to the front door and instinctively grabs the key that is hidden under the mat and unlocks the door. Opening the door she sees herself in the shower, herself just stares in disbelief and then the lights come back on and Faye is standing under the sonic pulse of the water which is starting to get cold.
