"Leyley, I don't--... want to."
"Well I do."
"Just go over and __k _e_ to ____ __th you."
"I thought she's your friend?"
"Mom said you'd help me with anything!"
"We'll get in trouble... and so will (Y/N)..."

--!
The rising sun finally creeps its way to your eyes. Just the bright light alone is enough to make you groan in pain.
"Aaaaaauuugh..."
You sit up and glance over the side to check the time, only to realize the batteries to the alarm clock died weeks ago. Time to get up.
Goooo-oood morning, (Y/N)!!
"Ugh..."
You try everything in your power to sit up straight, only to flop right back down onto your "bed," which consisted of a few metal springs and a barely functioning mattress. You can feel your arm and leg muscles start to weaken as you finally force yourself onto your feet. The smell of rotten air fills your lungs as you look around your room.
"... Aaaaand welcome back to this hellhole...", you think aloud to yourself.
Cracks that were once little to no issue were starting to emerge even more; seems like this place is falling apart at the scene. Great. There was also mold starting to form where the cracks were, and the walls all seemed like someone took an axe to it on every side.
"Maybe it's time to move my bed to the living room..."
Out of all the apartments you've stayed in throughout your life, this one easily takes the cake for being the worst out of all of them.
"Mmm... cake..."
"Oh, stop it! Don't get hungry now, not this early!"
Oh, but hungry you were. When was the last time you ate something? Days? Weeks? If it wasn't for your stomach making noises every five seconds, maybe you could think about anything else besides food. Who knows, perhaps you could take a look in the so-called "dumpster" in your living room and maybe you could find something to eat in there, though you doubted you'd find anything.
As you trudged into the living room, you took sight of its walls and noticed that nothing had changed from the previous room besides the fact that there was more furniture in this one. You had your simple kitchen area with its utensils and cupboards, along with a stove and oven, though you knew you'd probably never use it again. You turned over to your couch that had a TV in front of it that barely even worked, and when it did, you would only use it to watch the news to see if anything was happening with the quarantine in this apartment complex.
Behind the TV was a phone that you would use to call your "family," if you could even call them that. Your mother was not only a drug-addict and heavy drinker, but so was your father, so it would be a miracle if they'd even bother having the time picking up any of your calls, let alone want to. Your "friends" had all moved on, and did pretty much the same as your parents did and never even bothered to call you to ask simple things like, "How is your day," or "You doing alright?" Nope, nothing. All of them, even your childhood ones, had all seemed to disappear. The loneliness was really starting to eat at you, almost to the point of insanity.
You just wanted to talk to someone, anyone, but all you could really talk to was the warden who would occasionally stop by your doorstep and taunt you with the hope of receiving food, only to laugh in your face before leaving to do whatever the hell his job actually was. Since the exit to this place was boarded up, basically locking you inside, you had no idea what the outside world actually looked like. Sure, there was the one window in your bedroom that displayed a closeup of a couple of trees and the blinding sun, but that was about it. Plus, you didn't even have a balcony, unlike everyone else in the complex that "supposedly" had one, but for some reason, you didn't. You couldn't really hear anything since the outside walls were so damn thick. So, your only vision of the outside world consisted of trees, trees, and more trees. Lovely.
