Stuck at Daycare

Time: 1pm

Hayleigh: New playmate | Brenda: Hayleigh's Mummy

2 hours later: 

On the changing table again for a fresh nappy then onto the gym mat for a bit of socializing with other babies of similar age, being as its still new to you, your Mummy is there to support you. In the small circle with other little ones, it's hard to know what to do since you haven't been to daycare since you were an actual baby, but with your Mummy there, you can relax a bit, all around you, you can hear them babble and coo and engage in toys or their caregivers, after a couple of minutes you saw the same LAMAZE Freddie The Firefly toy as you pointed it out to your Mummy another baby girl wanted it too.

As your Mummy saw you pointing to the toy, she grabbed your LAMAZE Freddie The Firefly toy, "Here you are darlin', let the other baby girl have that one, you have your own now." you happily babbled at receiving your toy, and you notice the other baby girl looking towards you with curious interest, you both play with the Lamaze toy exactly the same. You both also make the same babble and coos as you play. By this point the other baby girl crawled over to you so you and her can play together, both your Mummy and her caregiver both smiled in awe at the two of you.

As you are watching the other baby girl play next to you, you match her breath rate while playing, and you feel at ease, you soon learn her name, but being in the same baby mindset it is harder to remember advanced words aside from babbles and coo's. So right now you are content playing with her.

Across the room, er caregiver came over and was talking with your Mummy while you are busy playing,

"Hi there, I am Hayleigh's caregiver. My name is Brenda." She broke the ice with your Mummy.

"Hello, my Angel and Hayleigh seem to like playing with each other."

"Yes, it is cute to see, though if you do not mind me asking, how old is your daughter?" Brenda asked.

"Oh, she is 17 but I know that she is much happier as a baby girl, although she was born a male, I could see she was unhappy as a male, so I wanted to see how well she is in the same setting as her brother and sister, so today she is 3 months." Your Mummy replied with honesty.

"I understand, and do not worry, if anyone has any trouble understanding, I will back you up. Also, if you like you and Angel are free to come over to our place for an impromptu playdate, just give me a heads up via text." Brenda said as she gave your Mummy her phone number and your Mummy gave hers.
