Chapter 8 (horrible mistake)

I got done with the workout and went to sleep. ( why? Why did I try to hit meowscles knowing well as heck that if he wasn't able to keep his anger intact that I would have died early) I went to sleep. I had a dream a weird dream I was at my parents house. And it was on fire I watched as it burned to the ground. I saw meowscles standing there smiling at me. But something was different his eyes were red like meanscles and he had scars all over him. I woke up wondering why I saw that, I know my parents died In a fire but why was meowscles there. I ignored it and went to midas for my mission. " jerry, meowscles is not here so you will be going with brutus for today."
Brutus told me to follow him as this mission was going to be dangerous. I asked him how dangerous. He said " very dangerous and as meowscles is not here I have to do this mission with you instead of him. I asked Brutus " Do you ever get angry at meowscles?" He said sometimes he's very pushy and scary at the same time, But thats because when I work out with him he only tries to help me get stronger. He cares about my health and well being enough to make sure im atleast going to get stronger. He does the same for you to doesn't he?" I said " yeah but I made a big mistake yesterday." Brutus then asked " what was that?" I told him " I struck meowscles." Brutus paused for a second and said " YOU DID WHAT!" I said " I struck him but he caught the punch before it landed." He said " oh damn what did he do to make you almost hit him?" I told brutus he was being annoying and pushing my buttons again. But knowing he was just looking out for me makes me kinda feel bad. Brutus then said " your lucky he didn't hit you back or you would have been dead as hell." I asked if Brutus new where we were going? He said "yes infact we are right here". I looked around and saw nothing but a massive trapdoor. Brutus exclaimed " Usually we would have meowscles do one of these missions because he's fast at killing things but hes not here, we should be stealthy and not get spotted." We went inside the trapdoor and saw a massive mansion looking place. " put these on its a cloaking device." I put them on and we both turned invisible but we could see each other.
I followed brutus to the lab of someone it was a female. A short black girl with an afro and wearing glasses. She was talking to someone who looked like an agent you would see at the agency but he wasn't. Me and brutus went closer to hear what they were saying. " Alright jones its your job today that nobody finds the trapdoor for our new base and if they do erase their memory." " yes doctor slone ill get right to it." Just then jones or whatever opened the door, and just then the invisibility gauntlets ran out. Jones noticed us and then pulled the alarm. We were quickly ambushed by a bunch of people. We made a run for it, we got into a. Cave like area and then we got surrounded again, " brutus what do we do." I said
" I dont know." Just that moment the gaurds who were behind us exploded. We had no idea why, but the big gaurd was charging at us and threw a truck at us. Just then when I felt I was dead I opened my eyes right infront of us was meowscles and midas, meowscles caught the truck and midas turned the big gaurd to gold.
" Man I just love when people throw trucks at people. Its my favorite." Meowscles then throws the truck back at then and the truck exploded. He
" we could have handled that ourselves you know." Brutus said. Meowscles then said back to brutus " Your ass would have been fucked if me and midas didn't show up." We left the weird futuristic lab looking place and went back to the agency. We got back and midas and brutus went to talk, leaving me and meowscles to do whatever. Just then this girl with a cat suit walked in and started talking to meowscles " hey big kitty are we going On that date." Meowscles replied with "yeah at 6:30. " it looked like these two had something going on with each other I asked him who it was and he said " Oh that's my girl. Her name is lynx." And I asked why he likes her so much and he said " 1 because she has a fat ass. 2 she is a cat person. 3 shes hot under the mask. And 4 she makes me happy." I laughed and said " no way she's dating you, meowscles your a cat thats kinda weird." Meowscles looked at me and said. " Im not just a cat if you look a little lower then just my face I have a body of a human and not only that but I can also speak human languages and have the knowledge of one to." I suppose he was right he was kinda human to. I asked him if he was ready for another workout and he said he already did his and that he will just watch me. We arrived at the yacht and I started lifting. But for some reason the weights were heavier then before. And I couldn't keep going. Meowscles noticed this and started pushing me again " come on jerry you can't be that weak! I know you can go longer than that." I told him to shut up and that im just talking a quick break. " break? Hell no you ain't taking a break your trying to get stronger right? No breaks you have to push yourself to the limits." I yelled around him to not tell me what to do and struck him again, this time he didn't catch it and it hit his face. Meowscles looked at me with anger the way he was looking at me told me I was fucked. And then meowscles said " wow you just love punching me don't you jerry?" I told him " no im sorry i got angry again." Meowscles said back to me " I know a way to take care of anger jerry." I asked him " and what was that." He told me " ITS TO GO TO SLEEP!" With that meowscles struck me on the head and I was out. I woke up to remedy our nurse staring at me. " oh your awake finally." I had woken up with bandages all over my face. " what happened?" I said to remedy she explained that meowscles had hit me and he brought you here for treatment." I had the most massive headache ever. Remedy told me I had been out for a week. " A WEEK!?" She said " yeah meowscles hits hard but I guess he held back on you because he did the same thing with brutus and Henry. But they were out for months " I asked who henry was she said " henry is our strongest henchman." And that both brutus and henry had hit meowscles and regretted it but that was years ago." I asked remedy why I had bandages on my face and she said " well even though he held back a hit on you, your nose has been broken and that it will take a while to heal. " I asked remedy to tell meowscles I was sorry and I didn't mean to hit him exactly. Remedy said " hes sorry to but you really pissed him off. But yeah I will tell him." With that I went back to sleep
