Chapter 2 (weird duo partner)

I started my first day at the agency Tek had told me to go to Midas for my first mission or whatever. I entered the room to greet Midas He told me to infiltrate a shadow base specifically the grotto Which had been taken over by shadow.
I asked if there was instructions on how I was going to get in and he said "yep your going to have my best agent be on your side and your going to be his new partner as his last one died in combat." I asked how he died midas exclaimed that while they were fending off shadow agents one of the upper ranks of shadow had stepped in and exploded him. I said do we know who the upper rank was Midas said yes He is a clone of my best agent but hes evil. Right As I was about to say something a person opened the door and when I turned around I could not tell what I was looking at I was in shock it was a tall 6,4 cat with huge muscles on his body. "Ah meowscles you finally decided to come out of your hiding corner". Meowscles stood there and did not say anything, I asked midas "is this my partner." He said yes the best and strongest in the agency enough to take even hardest hits ever. I said hello to meowscles and he did not say anything he gazed at me menacingly, as he gazed at me I felt the room get colder and colder and I shaked the more he looked at me, it was so scary. "Meowscles don't scare your new partner away." Meowscles looked at Midas and smiled and nodded, midas told me and meowscles to go and infiltrate the grotto and as so we did what he asked. While we were walking to the grotto because the helicopter was missing from agency I could not keep my eyes of meowscles he was so scary and cute at the same time He was cut in the way a cat usually should be but the scary thing about him was his size and the fact that he kept looking at me and smiling, somehow his smile makes the temperature around me colder then when he just gazes at me. I tried to engage in conversation with him " so meowscles since we are partners do you want to tell me more about yourself." He open his mouth and said in a very low pitched voice a deep voice " I am strong enough to lift the agency." I almost shit myself hearing that, not only was he not normal like a cat with a human body but he can lift up the agency. I was over reacting in thoughts when I realized wait this isn't so bad I have a strong partner to protect me from any harm that may come to me.
LOCATION GROTTO 9:38 am
We had arrived at the Grotto it was a massive hole in the ground meowscles suggested we get in through the skull on the side of it, we entered the grotto to see multiple shadow henchmen we were on a hostage situation to retrieve a henchmen that had been captured. Meowscles handed me a gun and said stay here and gaurd the entrance ill go get the henchmen I said ok and he went in, I watched as he slaughtered multiple shadow henchmen with his bare hands and then disappeared into the grotto.
Meowscles entered the inner layer of the grotto
He was looking for the henchmen when he got shot at by something it was a mounted turrent and behind it was the henchmen. Meowscles rushed in with no regards for his own safety and ripped the turrent apart he freed the. Henchmen and got back to the outer layer of the grotto.
BACK TO JERRY'S POV
Meowscles exited the inner layer of the grotto as he did that he was threw the henchmen towards me, I caught the henchmen meowscles told me he was going to blow up the grotto and told me to watch his back. As he was placing down the explosives I saw a black cat with red eyes enter the grotto I warned meowscles that someone was there and we both left the grotto as soon as we could as we left meowscles set off the explosives and laughed. " why are you laughing." I said to him " heh it was funny how meanscles came into the grotto just to get exploded." I asked who is meanscles he told me it was his evil clone thats been a huge issue to the agency, we left the grotto while it was burning and then something happend I looked back at the explosion and then the same black cat came out of the grotto looking angry. "Uh meowscles I think meanscles did not feel like dying today because he survived the explosion." Meowscles turned around and looked a little angry himself. " well well well would you look who decided to show up to the party it sure was explosive." Said meanscles " Meanscles if you know whats good for you, you will run away now before I knock your ass out". Said meowscles
"I don't think were gonna be doing any knocking out yet."
