He looked at her but she didn't say a word. He noticed her and understood what she wanted from him through her hesitating face. But he wanted to listen it from her, so he pretended that he didn't understand anything.
'Kya hua..?' (What happened..?)
'Nahi kuch nahi hua..' (No nothing happened..)
Purvi turned to leave when he wanted to grab her hand but he didn't. She went to her room. He also went to his room and closed the door. After sometime he heard her scream. So he left to her room.
She was standing looking her feet, it was a cockroach. Kavin was speechless.
'Tum ek cockroach se dar gayi..?' (You are scared of a cockroach..?)
She just hugged him. She is not afraid of anything except for cockroaches. But it's not her fault. She was so young at that time when she witnessed an incident that happened due to a cockroach. Someone died in front of her and she saw a cockroach near a person.
Being too young, she thought cockroaches are a bad omen, so she avoided them from her childhood. It got fixed in her mind in such a way that she screams automatically whenever she sees a cockroach. Kavin hugged her in return.
He understood from her hug that's she is really scared, so he shouldnot joke with her. So he didn't say a word and held her in his arms. The cockroach left on its own and they were still in a hug. Kavin broke the hug and he went to pour a glass of water when she saw a silhouette near her window.
'Rakha..? Mera shak bilkul sahi tha.. Kavin pehle se hi ghayal hai.. Mujhe unhe is tarah akele sone nahi dena chahiye.. ' Purvi thought.
(Rakha..? I was right.. Kavin is already injured.. I shouldn't let him sleep alone..)
Purvi pretended that she had pain in her twisted leg and she needed someone to accompany her at that moment.
Kavin smiled under his throat because he knew she hesitated as she wanted to sleep beside him.
But it's not the reason she hesitated, it's because she wanted to protect him from Rakha not alerting him as he is already injured and is recovering at the current moment. Kavin picked her up and took her to his room. He laid her on the bed and laid beside her turning off the lights.
Purvi was a bit confused at that moment as she didn't understand of what her feeling should be at that present moment. She is happy that she can spend time with her crush,she is nervous thinking that they are not married yet and it feels like they are wedded for her. On the other hand, she is afraid thinking Rakha will hurt Kavin if she misses an eye on him.
Kavin turned towards her side and due to darkness in the room, she couldn't see that he is staring at her. Also, she is focused on Rakha at that moment.
'Kavin kuch karo na..Yahi tumhara mauka hai.. Ek ladki hote hue bhi, bahane se hi sahi par vo tumhare saath so rahi hai ek hi bed pe.. Kya tum apna pyaar bhi jata nahi sakte us par..?' Kavin thought.
(Kavin do something.. This is your chance.. Being a girl, she was still bold enough to sleep next to you on the same bed, if only with an excuse! You can't even display your affection for her?)
Kavin kept his hand on her pretending that he was in sleep and kept his hand on her by mistake. He kept quiet as he wanted to see her reaction and make a move on her further if she doesn't mind him coming close to her. As expected by him, she didn't mind him. But in reality, she is so focused on Rakha.
A silhoutte came inside through the window while Kavin was about to pull her near him. Purvi slowly woke up and sat on the bed after removing his hand. He was taken aback at first and then he understood why she did so when his gaze fell on the silhouette.
'Tum..? Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho..?'
(You..? What are you doing here..?)
'Mai aapko yeh batane aaya tha ki Rakha ka plan badal gaya hai.. Vo 2 din baad deal nahi karne wala balki aadhe ghante baad kisi pe hamla karne wala hai..'
(I came here to inform you that Rakha changed his plan. He is not gonna do a deal after 2 days, instead he will attack somebody within half an hour..)
'Kispe hamla karne wala hai vo..?'
(Whom is he planning to attack..?)
'Mai sure nahi hu lekin mujhe darr hai ki uska target Kavin hai..'
(I am not sure but I am afraid that his target is Kavin)
Kavin who clearly heard what the man said was about to wake up when the man further continued.
'Vaise aapko Kavin ko bachane ki zaroorat nahi hai, vo khud ko bacha sakte hai..'
(By the way, you don't need to protect Kavin, he can protect himself)
'Tumhara dimaag thik hai na..? Kavin ka halat dekha tumne..? Pehle se hi vo ghayal hai, mai nahi chahti ki vo stress le aur recover hone ki jagah apna health aur kharab kare..'
(Have you lost your mind..? Can't you see Kavin's condition..? He is already injured and I don't want him to take stress instead of recovering from his injuries, thus worsening his health)
'Aap abhi Kavin ki wife nahi ho.. Aapko future mei banna hai.. Tho itna zyada gyaan na de mujhe..'
(You are not Kavin's wife at present.. You will be in future.. Hence, there is no need for giving knowledge or lessons to me..)
Purvi went speechless for a second, Kavin smiled, he was a bit loud that both turned and Kavin turned the lights on. She was embarrassed.
'Vaise Mr. Rishi, aapko is tarah chori chupke ghar mei ghusne ki zaroorat nahi hai..'
(By the way, Mr. Rishi, you don't need to enter the house stealthily!)
Rishi left from there as he saw Kavin awake. Purvi was about to go to another room when he stopped by grabbing her wrist. She halted but didn't turn back.
'Itna fikar karti ho mere liye..?'
(You worry for me a lot, don't you..?)
'Mai sabki fikar karti hu..'
(I worry for everyone..)
He pulls her and turns her around due to which she hits his chest. He holds her waist and lifts her head with his index finger under her chin while she looks at him.
'Tum fikar mat karo.. Abhi toh mujhe bahut lamba jeena hai.. Umm... Vaise bhi mujhe abhi tumhare saath sagai karna hai, shaadi karna hai, phir itna romance karna hai ki ek din 4 bachche honge hamare, par phir bhi tumhe nahi chodunga mai, yeh waada hai mera tumse..'
(Don't worry.. I have a very long life.. I have to get engaged to you, marry youand then do lots of romance with you. I promise I will never leave you even after 4 kids!) .Kavin winked at her.
'Aur vaise bhi abhi kitna kuch karna baaki hai mujhe.. Hamare bachchon ko paal poske bada karna hai, unhe school bhejna hai aur ek din unko life mei settle hote hue dekhna hai aur phir unki shaadi bhi toh karwana hai na.. Aur toh aur mujhe yeh bhi toh dekhna hai ki bude hone ke baad tum safed baalon mei sundar dikhogi ya chudail bankar pure ghar mei ghoomti rahogi..' Purvi made a 'O' face hearing what he said.
(Oh and it's not over yet ! I will then watch over our kids grow, marry and get settled. By that time you will have turned into an old lady, still beautiful in my eyes or perhaps you may even turn into an old witch too and roam in the entire house).
Kavin smiled under his throat seeing her reaction, but he did this to calm her and make her less worried about him distracting her from Rakha's matter.
