Eight years ago...
*Summer Vacation 1994*
(It's 7:30 pm and there's a party going on down at the beach. Then, as if from nowhere, a mermaid appeared on a rock not far from the beach party)
Mermaid: "Wow, cool party. I wish I could go."
Beachgoer 1: "Hey, did you see that?"
Beachgoer 2: "See what?"
Beachgoer 1: "I think it was a mermaid!"
Beachgoer 3: "Really?"
Beachgoer 1: "Yep!"
(The mermaid, hearing the three beachgoers, hid behind the rock right away)
Beachgoer 2: "You do know that mermaids aren't real, right?"
Beachgoer 1: "Don't even say that! I saw her with my own eyes!"
Beachgoer 3: "Keep your mind open to this. He believes in mermaids as much as I do."
(The mermaid sat on back the same rock she hid behind once the beachgoers went back to partying)
Mermaid: "I'll be at that beach party one summer. They'll see."
(With that, she jumped back into the water as the screen went black)
