Mermaid Beach Party Part 5

Sebastian: "Hey, guys. I think we might be heading close to Chloe!"

TJ: "Yeah and I bet we'll really find a mermaid!"

Ms. Lopez: "We'll see!"

(Meanwhile, Chloe as a mermaid is going after Lina when she accidentally bumps into a sea turtle.)

Chloe: "Sorry about that. Young trendsetter turned mermaid coming through!"

Lina: "Nice try there, Chloe! Not gonna catch me!"

Chloe: "You're not gonna get away with this!"

(Suddenly, Chloe gets entangled in a forest of seaweed.)

Chloe: "Okay, this new mermaid tail is seriously weirding me out."

(Lina stops and realizes the danger Chloe's in, so she untangled the seaweed to get her out)

Chloe: "Thanks, I guess. Now can I have the necklace back?"

Lina: "Once you head to my secret grotto!"

Chloe: "It's so on, Lina!"

(She then swims into the grotto, forgetting that her friends are following her on Ms. Lopez's submarine.)

Chloe: "There's no way you led me into *stunned* this fabulous grotto. Wow, everything looks so beautiful here. *sees her reflection in the water* including myself! I'm a really cool mermaid! If only my friends could see me now!"

(That's when the submarine comes in and opens up when her friends come out!)

All: "Chloe!"

Chloe: "Guys!" *swims over to hug all her friends* "I'm so happy to see you again!"

Lina: "Hey, I've never met you guys before!"

Chloe: "Lina, those are my friends. Guys, this is Lina."

All: *one at a time* "Hi, there! Hola. Nice to meet you. Hey, how you doin'?"

Lina: "Hi, guys! I was just showing Chloe my grotto! Isn't it beautiful!"

All: *one at a time* "Oh yeah, it really is! I love it already!"

Chloe: "Yeah. You know, I'm starting to get used to being a mermaid since I got the hang of swimming, but..." *looks at her friends* I" miss being with my friends most of all."

Lina: "That's alright. I understand."

Julia: "Way to go with the flow, Chloe!"

Chloe: *to Julia* "Yeah. Thanks, Julia. Anyway, Lina, could I have my necklace back and can you change me back, please? Sorry I was rude to you before. It's just that it was my first time meeting you."

Lina: "Sure. It was really nice of you to tell me that."

(So, as a reward for her kindness, Lina gives back Chloe's necklace and raises her trident once again to change her new friend back into a human, much to Chloe's relief)

Chloe: "Finally! Hey, I was thinking that you can come to our beach party!"

Lina: "You really mean it?"

Gisele: "Of course! Everyone's welcome to celebrate this summer, even mermaids!"

Lina: "Thanks, everyone. Especially you, Chloe! I'm so in!"

(Chloe and her friends climb back into Ms. Lopez's submarine as it dives back underwater, out of the grotto and resurfaces with Lina following them back to the beach. There, everyone else is happy to see Chloe and her friends back with a new mermaid friend joining them for the beach party)

Julia: "I'm so proud of you, Chloe. You really did go with the flow."

Sebastian: "Does this mean more friends this summer?"

Chloe: "I think we've found a brand new friend for one day! *to Lina* Thanks, Lina! Really nice meeting you!"

Lina: "It was my pleasure."

Chloe: "Oh! By the way, I made something for you." *shows Lina her handmade sea glass bracelet* "Here, this reminded me of my new mermaid form!"

Lina: *blushes after seeing the new sea glass bracelet Chloe got her* "Oh my gosh, thanks, Chloe!"

Chloe: "Anytime! No more stress, no more worries and plenty of new friends to make!"

(And with that, this summer day was the best one, thanks to kindness, new friends and most of all, a chance to go with the flow)
