It's Just the Beginning

This is the story of two children. Both of them are special, just like this story. This all happens on the year of 1992. The McAllister parents and the Ashmore parents are finally receiving their special gift. The one that will have a few complications, but will still have a heart of gold - Jordan Ashmore, and Christian McAllister.

Jordan was born with Down Syndrome, but that didn't stop her from doing anything. When she was just an infant, her symptoms didn't really show until the age of 2, where her face was dislocated. It was more closer to her chin, but still normal. Her parents noticed, and finally found out that she had Down Syndrome. Her parents were saddened by this heartbreaking news, but Jordan still had a lovely childhood.

Christian was born with complications too - being deaf and blind. Only few people were deaf and blind, Christian was part of that handful. He had cloudy eyes, and didn't cry as much when he was born. His parents were questioned by his cloudy eyes, and the doctor explained that he was blind. He was deaf because he never smiled when his parents played with him. When he was 4, he didn't have his first words. Doctors finally told the loving parents that he was deaf. They tried everything to teach him, but it didn't work.

Eventually, both parents put their children to a special school for the disabled - Lady of Wisdom School for the Disabled after fifth grade. They were both new, and just entered sixth grade. This is the story of a long friendship between buddies who would have a special connection with each other.
