I woke up to the baby crying. I walked over and picked him up. I took him out of the room. I changed him and put clean clothes on him. I went and made him a bottle. I fed him. While I fed him I made a pot of coffee. I felt Jim hug me from behind. He kissed my neck.

Jim: kinda forgot there was a kid here for a sec.

I laughed.

Jim: I won't get the sight of seeing you with a baby out of my head though. Makes me wanna have ten more.
Courtney: woah

I turned around and kissed him.

Jim: girl don't stop

He kissed me as I laughed.

Jim: stop laughing

He kissed me again. I put my hand on his chest. He looked at me.

Jim: I love you. You know that?
Courtney: I hope you do.

He laughed.

Jim: haha so funny.
Courtney: you need to get dressed.
Jim: you don't like the view?
Courtney: you know I do
Jim: come join me.
Courtney: I'm kinda busy.
Jim: fine be that way.

He went to shower. I got the diaper bag ready. I went in to shower after him. I heard him come in.

Jim: can you hurry

I laughed. I finished and got out and put this on-

I dried my hair. I went back out. I felt Jim pick me up.

Courtney: ah!

He laughed, letting me down. He kissed me.

Jim: ready?
Courtney: yeah.

We left. Jim stopped at my mom and dads.

Jim: we forgot something here yesterday I'll be right back.

He ran inside. Two minutes later he came back out empty handed. He made another stop. Came back out two minutes later empty handed. We went to Deacs. We walked in together.

Deac: there you are oh and street.

Annie came over. She looked at the baby.

Annie: oh I love him.

I let her take him. She got him out.

Deac: oh here we go again.
Hondo: that's just a extra score man

He laughed. She held him. I looked at Jim. I nodded.

Jim: Tan Luca come over here

I sat down in a chair.

Jim: we have something that we want to come clean to you guys about.
Deac: oh no what did you do street.

He laughed.

Luca: spit it out street.
Jim: Courtney and I Have been seeing each other.
Deac: what?
Jim: yeah.
Tan: since when
Jim: year and a half.
Luca: so the rest of those relationships were fake.
Courtney: yes.
Luca: wow.

I nodded.

Deac: are you for real?
Jim: yes.

They were all shook

Annie: I ship

I laughed.

Deac: I'm surprised.
Jim: we wouldn't be telling you guys if we didn't think it was gonna last. And with the kid now.
Tan: what are you gonna do about that.
Courtney: uhm
Jim: we're gonna keep him.
Deac: really?
Jim: yeah.
Luca: so the kid will have two last names?
Hondo: no one.
Jim: hopefully one. We won't be able to adopt him for another six months.
Deac: are you hoping to be married before then?
Luca: that would be a good idea.
Jim: that's the thought.
Luca: wow. Streets committed.

They laughed.

Deac: I'm happy for you guys.
Courtney: are you?
Deac: yeah honestly I am.

We ate.

Jessica: So when's the wedding.
Jim: I haven't proposed.
Jessica: I don't care I have a wedding to help plan.
Annie: yeah she's right.

I laughed.

Courtney: we'll see. It'll be before little dude gets adopted for sure
Tan: did you guys decide on a name?
Jim: not yet
Courtney: I thought we did.
Jim: what?
Courtney: yeah
Jim: no we didn't.

I laughed. We stayed there for a while. After lunch we went to my moms and dropped the baby off. We went to the store. We went shopping for the baby. When we were done we went home and set it all up in the guest bedroom. Soon, it was a nursery. I looked at the wall practically falling over Street. He caught me. I looked at him.

Jim: Courtney. You are the most amazing woman and best girlfriend that I could ever ask for. You mean the absolute world to me, and I couldn't ask for a different relationship of. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

He got on his knee.

Jim: will you marry me?

I smiled. I brought my hands to my face and tears poured from my eyes.

Jim: oh my god are you crying?!

I laughed.

Courtney: happy tears
Jim: is that a yes?

I nodded. He hugged me. He kissed me. Then he put the ring on my finger. He kissed me again and squeezed my butt. I went out to the kitchen I ducked. He came out.

Jim: babe

I hid behind the island.

Jim: Courtney?

I didn't answer.

Jim: Courtney Jean Street where the hell are you?

I laughed. He saw me.

Jim: what are you doing?

He started laughing. I got up.

Courtney: we soils probably go get the kid.

We went to my moms. We grabbed the baby and went back home. My mom was obsessed with the ring. We put the baby to bed and then we went to bed.
