She put the last of her luggage away, closing the back with a bit of trouble. Her brother smiled at her, catching her in a bear hug.

"Be careful out there Mabes", he said.

"Don't worry Dip' n' Dots, i'll be just fine, i'll send you a text once I get there", she said, hugging back.

"Hope you like the gift I gave you, Bill helped me choose it for you", he said, letting her go.

Mabel frowned, giving her brother a worried look.

"Is Bill spending Christmas with you? he seemed busy and has barely come home", she said.

Dipper knew what she meant, and she was right. Bill Cipher was known for running the best company in New York City, making him a millionare.

He barely came home, and when he did, he would just lock himself in his study room and only come out to eat or go to the bathroom.

Dipper smiled though, not wanting to worry his sister. He checked his phone, Bill had is break in twenty minutes.

"I'm sure he is, it's a holiday afterall, he should be coming home later", he said,

"Fine, but if he doesn't, call me, i'll come pick you up right away so that you don't celebrate alone", she said, holding his hands in hers.

"I'll be fine", he reassured her.

"Ok then, see you next year!", she said.

"Wow, typical Mabel", he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Hah! I should get going now", she said, getting in her car.

"Yep, don't want you getting stuck in traffic and missing your flight with Pacifica", he chuckled.

"For your information, she would never leave me", she said.

"Hahaha! Welp, see you next year then", he smiled sadly.

"Merry Christmas Dipper!!", Mabel waved.

"Merry Christmas to you too Mabel!!", Dipper waved back, watching as her sister drove off.

He stood there, watching the car go farther and farther away until he could no longer see it, a cold breeze made him shiver, he hugged himself to stay warm.

The snowflakes danced in the sky as they slowly fell, the snow on the streets shined as the sunlight hit them.

Dipper sighed, walking back into his cozy house, preparing some lunch for his beloved, who was about to have his break soon.

"Bill! You in here?", he said, slowly opening the door.

He placed the bag on the desk, taking his scarf off, followed by his coat and beanie.

He wandered around the office, noticing that there was nothing related to christmas, not even a tree or lights, just a plain normal office.

His eyes showed sadness, he looked down at his hands, feeling hopeless. He had really thought that he would finally be able to spend some time with his lover.

But guess not...

"Pinetree? What are you doing here", the door closed with a click!

"Ah! Bill, I just came to drop off your lunch, I made it just like you always liked it", Dipper smiled, standing up to grab the bag to hand it over to him.
