A soft yellow glow illiminated the room, a humanoid figure appeared in the middle of the room, right infront of Bill's desk.

The said man moved in his seat, trying to block away the 'suns rays' of light. To no avail, he opened his eyes to see what had woken him up.

There before him stood a beautiful woman, her light brown hair tied in a bun, she wore a long white dress that turned gold at the bottom.

A small gold crown lay in her head, decorated in diamonds in the shape of snowflakes, she smiled softly at the still sleepy blonde.

"W... who are you?", he asked, rubbing the last of his sleep away.

"I'm the Spirit of christmas past, or Melody for short", she said, her tone was very calming.

"Spirit of wha-!? Excuse me!? Im trying to sleep here", Bill argued.

"Don't raise your voice at me child, we don't have time to argue now", Melody said, looking out the window.

"What are you gonna do, Take me to the past?", Bill laughed.

"Yes, now come here", she said, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the window.

"Hey! What are you-!?", Bill watched as she walked through the window.

He began to panic as, he too, began yo go through the window.

"W-wait! What's going on!?", he yelled, closing his eyes.

He expected the feeling of falling, but he instead, felt light?

He opened his eyes, realizing he was flying in mid air. He looked over at Melody, who gave him a reassuring smile.

"Are you ready to go back in time?", she asked.

Bill took a moment to calm down before finally nodded, the Spirit smiled before flying through the city.

Bill held on to her hand, letting her drag him as he was busy taking in the veiw of the city.

Christmas lights filled almost every corner of the city, people still wandered the late streets, bidding eachother a merry christmas.

They suddenly fly high, then down. Everything began to change as they flew down, they weren't big changes, but they were still noticeable.

They finally landed after a few minutes, right infront of a house that looked very familiar to Bill.

"Do you remember this place", Melody asked.

"This is my home, back when I was around ten", Bill said.

Melody nodded, making her way to the front door. Bill reached for her, but missed.

"What are you doing!? Are you trying to get us arrested for breaking in!?", he yelled.

Melody ignored him and walked straight through the door, Bill stared in shock.

He didn't know whether to follow her or not, he just wanted to have a nice little nap and then finish work.

In a blink, he realized that he stood right next to Melody, who signaled him to look forward.

He did so, noticing a young blond boy sitting by a christmas tree, his back was towards their direction.

Bill stepped forward, reaching out to see who the boy was.

"Bill! Can you get the table ready dear?", a womans voice called.
