You were in your office and you could hear him in his office coughing again and you decided to check on him and you open his office door a crack and see him coughing up flower petals.
You soon gasp but it was quiet and he was crying while coughing he was in a lot of pain and you left to get poppy and she came with you to his office.
Soon you both come in and he is on the floor still coughing up the flower petals poppy takes him to the infirmary and put him on medical supplies just in case.
You soon get him something to sooth his throat and you come back "here boss this will sooth your throat it's honey with tea." You said and he takes it.
He takes a sip "thank you y/n." He said and you look at him and he is very tired looking and looks weaker.
He soon started getting sleepy and he places the cup of tea on a table beside the bed and starts falling asleep.
Poppy soon looks at you and you're very concerned for him and trying not to cry from worry.
"Are you alright y/n." Poppy asks and you start crying "why didn't he tell me that this was happening I could've helped with this." You said while sobbing.
She gently rubs your back "he didn't want you to worry and he didn't even tell us even Barnaby didn't know." She said and you continue sobbing.
Soon you leave the infirmary to finish his paperwork since he can't do it and you couldn't stop worrying about him.
