Chapter 3: Starting at their jobs

At the 21st district

Jay walks into the police station, not noticing a woman with long brown hair and blue eyes.

Jay walks upstairs to the Intelligence unit, followed by  other people, 7 girls and 7 boys.

Hank Voight and Alvin Olinsky arrived immediately to welcome everyone to their unit.

Hank Voight said," Welcome to the Intelligence unit, congrats on being selected to join this unit.

Alvin Olinsky said," Let's go over the rules. Rule 1: No cussing. It makes everyone feel unsafe. Rule 2: No talking back. It makes me upset. Rule 3: Everyone goes home after every case. Rule 4: Leave your guns here. Rule 5: Don't talk to IA because they are rude. Rule 6: Don't laugh or bully someone because they are different. Rule 7: Come here dressed at 9:00 am sharp every day. Rule 8: Keep your emotions in check. Rule 9: Make to stay with your partner. and lastly, Rule 10: Stay safe. does everyone understand these rules? Also leave you gun in your locker at the end of shift.

Hank said," Does anyone understand why we have these rules?

Hailey Said," yes to keep us safe.

Hank said," She is correct. Now we have a case. 12-year-old girl named Zoya and her twin brother Beckett was reported missing.

Hailey Upton said,"  that is my sister and brother I have be looking for.
                                                                                                                                                                                               They find Hailey's sister, Zoya and her twin brother Beckett and Hailey takes them home.

She also adopted Zelda Upton, Ansley Upton Quinn Upton, Ansley Upton, Victoria Upton, Carly Upton, Suzan Upton, Jack Upton , Mason Upton, Tristan Upton Colby Upton, Joshua Upton, and Santiago who are 8, Mia and Zaiden 4 and are at home safe and sound.

Kim Rhodes, Macey Atwater, Vanessa Rojas, Hailey Upton, Erin Lindsay, Grace Smith, Sebastian Torres, Blake Ruzek, Garrett Smith, Austin Choi, Tyler Rhodes, Jay Halstead and Zane Dawson headed home for the night.

at firehouse 51

Matthew walks into the Firehouse, not noticing a woman with long brown hair and light brown eyes. both walk up to the Chief's office and Knocked on the door and the person said," Enter. 

Chief Wallace Boden said," Welcome to firehouse 51 and I hope you enjoy your time here at 51.

Carla said," I will sir. I hope you have a good morning and day too, Chief Boden. Good day, sir.

Matthew said," I will sir. I hope you have a good morning and day too, Chief Boden. Good day, Sir.

Both headed to their quarters and rested.

They answered calls that they were needed on and stuff like that.

Matthew Casey, Kelly Severide, Joe Cruz, Harper Mackey, Izzy Halstead and Carla Ruzek headed home for the night.

At Gaffney Chicago Medical center

Dylan Scott walked into the ER, Not Noticing a woman with long dark hair and brown eyes.

Sharon said," Welcome to Gaffney Chicago Medical center, I hope you will enjoy working here.

Ashley said," Thank you, Ms. Goodwin. I hope you have a good morning and day too, Ma'am.

Dylan said," Thank you, Ms. Goodwin. I hope you have a good morning and day too, Ma'am.

Both headed to the doctor's lounge and put their stuff away in their lockers and headed to work.

Nurse Charlotte Lockwood said," Dr. Scott and Dr. Sexton, there are  2 three- twins, Zuma and Terry in treatments room six and nine. parents will be here soon. they been contacted already.

Dylan walked into treatment room 6 and saw a little girl with brown hair and green eyes, shy.

Dylan kindly said," Hey, what's your name, sweetie? I'm Dr. Dylan Scott. I'm here to help you.

Zuma shyly said," My name is Zuma and My right arm hurts a whole lot, Dr, Scott. really badly.

Dylan checked her heartbeat, lungs and her ears and then checks her arm, only to hear a hiss from the little girl and she is crying, He feels so bad and he comforts her and she calms down.

Dylan said," Zuma, your arm appears to be broken so we will have to put a cast on it, okay?

Zuma nodded and asked," Will it hurt Dr. Scott? Will it hurt a whole lot, Dr. Scott?

Dylan kindly said," It will hurt but I promise It will be over soon and your parents will be here.

Naylee and Liam arrived and hugged their daugther and son and comforted Zuma as she got her cast on and signed their kids out of the hospital and the kids said thank you to the doctors and they said you're welcome and the family headed home and they kept on working the whole day.

Hyacinth Halstead, Ashley Sexton, Charlotte Lockwood, Tyler Rhodes, Blake Ruzek and Dylan Scott headed home for the night.
