Hay Lin's POV
Hi. I'm Hay Lin. I have long blue black hair which is often up in pigtails and I hold a great secret. I have this thing. Well bascically I am a guardian of the veil I live in a Orphanage. Sunnyville Orphanage. Yeah, right. All the kids here bully me. I love Liam Payne from One Direction. He is... walking through the door with his friends from One Direction?!? Oh, so that's why we have to put on a show. I realise I am still in my pjamas. I am the last person to put on show anyway. I quickly run to my room and grab my belly showing butterfly top and my hipsta jeans. I run back and hear my name being called. I run forward in my clothes with my fist clenched waiting for the laughs. Everyone suddenly laughs at me. I just shrug it of. I doesn't bother me any more. I start doing all the witchy stuff like transforming then using my powers over air.
Everyone looks at me their eyes wide and their mouths hanging open. Even Liam is looking at me like that. Wow! I can't believe that just happened. Woo hoo. I just did that in front of Liam Payne. I run to my room and grab my diary. I find my air pen and start writing.

Dear diary,

That's all I got to write before Zayn interrupted from the doorway by saying "What you writing?"
"None of your buisness!" I snap before closing my diary. Suddenly I hear Liam voice and four sets of footsteps. I am going to kill Zayn. He delibrately did that. As soon at Harry, Louis , Niall and Louis reach the room I have hid my diary. Suddenly, Zayn, Harry, Louis and Niall fall down and Prince Phobos, Lord Cedric and Nerissa say in perfect unison "Spend some alone time with dearest Romeo."
They just dissapears. Suddenly they guys wake up. They guys all look at me stunned and speechless. Minus Liam.
"What did that guy mean when only me and you were standing when he said spend some time with Romeo?" Liam said.
They all looked at me suspiciously.
"N-nothing." I said fastly. Shit! Give yourself away why don't ya.
Suddenly Zayn's eyes flicker towards the diary on my bed. Fuck! I didn't hid it. Me and Zayn both dive for the diary. I grab but he rips it out of my hands and pushes me against the wall with such pressure that I scream out in pain. They all look at me shocked and confused.
"When Zayn slammed me into the wall it put pressure on my scars." Mrs Carls runs in with the whip. She walks towards me and raises the whip. I scream and run by the door. Mrs Carls walks towards me and I can't escape. The guys have shock and horror written all over their faces. Before I have time to react, I feel the leather burn my skin repeatedly. This happens to me and me only. Luchia my enemy probably told her to do it. Mrs Carls walks out and I just get up walk over to Zayn take the diary and sit in a ball on the floor, not bothering to cry because I'm used to it. The guys run forward to comfort me.
"We are adopting you." Zayn said. I nod and start packing my things into my suitcase. It only fills up half of the space. The guys are stunned. "And we are taking you shopping."
Once Liam has finished signing the papers,we walk outside. I asked which side do I get in and I got bombarded with the word left. I fly over the limo to the left side and land on my feet. The guys look at me stunned. When we are all in the car they start laughing then I have a horrible flashback from when I was six.
Hay Lin's Flashback
"Where are you slut?" My dad shouted. I ran downstairs not wasting his time. He grabbed me by my hair and starting yanking my clothes off. I was being raped I knew it. I could feel every painful move just like last time. He rapes me 50 times a day. He just started laughing. He got the whip out and whipped me until the police came and took me to the orphange and my dad to the police station to be arrested and thrown behind bars.

I didn't realise I was crying until I felt someone hug me and wipe away my tear.My first proper hug but I knew they were gonna start beating me and raping me soon so I enjoy this moment whilst it lasted. When we arrived they showed me my room and I stayed in their until one of the boys called me down for dinner. I didn't to down I went up. Up to the roof. 10 minutes later I heard a voice.
"Dinner was ready 10 minutes ago now." a Irish voice said. Niall.
"I'm not coming down. That's just one of your lame excuses to make me go down so you can start raping me and abusing me like all my previous adopted guardians."
"No it's not," Niall said sitting down next to me. I flinched."We all love you and would never do that."
"Well okay. I suppose I better come down." I said. We both stood up and I rested my head on his shoulder and walked downstairs. There was loads of stuff on the table including my favourite. Bread and butter. They told me I could take whatever food I wanted so I just ate 2 slices of bread and butter and I was full. I went upstairs and opened my suitcase. I had shoved a quarter of my books in there and a quarter in 3 carrier bags. The only books in my suitcase was Secret Kingdom and W.I.T.C.H. I got out number one of Witch out out and put it under my pillow. I got my song book out and flipped over to my song.
Stars
I started to sing.
"If I knew what the stars spelt
I would shoot them all down.
The stars are a mean thing in life
I hate the way they shine.
The remind me of my dad's sparkling eyes
Twinkling everytime he was about to be mean to me."
That was as far as I got before I heard clapping. I turned towards my bed and hid my songbook. I didn't realise who was clapping until somebody hugged me from behind. I span around to see Niall looking down at me. I tried to squirm out of his grip suddenly remembering when I was two.
Hay Lin's Flashback
My mum hugged me from behind. I knew it was her. I could smell her perfume. Suddenly l smelt a cigarette smell. I could feel a burn. She was burning me with a cigarette.
End of flashback.
I could feel my tears being wiped away and someone hugging me tighter. I looked up into Niall's electric blue eyes. I hugged him tighter. When we let go all I heard was millions of 'awwwwws'. I kicked the boys where the sun don't shine. Niall highfived me. I divebombed onto the bed and grabbed WITCH number one. I opened it and read the comic strip because it was originally a comic. After that I closed the book and shoved it under my pillow. I rolled off the floor with a loud thud then I was on my knees doing the christ the reedemer pose. Awesome pose. The guys starting laughing randomly. Whilst the weren't noticing I climbed onto the roof and started to sing.
"You're insecure don't know what for
you're turning heads when you walk through the door door door."
Once I had finished the song I heard a voice say "You've got a god damn good voice you have."
I felt someone hug me. They had a cigarette smell. I spun around and saw Zayn. I yawned and Zayn lifted me up bridle style.
"What are you doing?" I asked tiredly.
"Putting you in your bed to sleep.
When we was in my room, I asked Zayn to stay with me that night so he did. I then fell asleep in the arms of Zayn Malik. Jealous Bitches?

I woke up and heard snickering. Zayn was still asleep so I got up in my bed and saw the boys snickering. I kicked them where the sun don't shine except for Niall. I just smacked him round the head. Suddenly, I was jumped on.
