The Choice

Chapter 6

I woke up to the sound of the alarm clock on my iPhone.
6 am.
I pressed the home button to see a message on my lock screen.
Matthew- I'm gonna pick you up today😉
I got up took a shower brush my teeth and all my hygiene stuff. Curled my hair. I put on some high wasted jeans with a crop top with the word Flawless and my jordans.
I grabbed my bag and phone and heading outside the house.
I spotted Matthew outside my door with a smirk on his face.
"What?" I asked
"I miss seeing you in the morning"
I blushed. Why is he still was able to make me blush?
We went inside his car and drove to school.
As we were walking I realized I didn't ask how he was after the fight with Dylan. "You ok?" I ask concerned
"Yea just a lil bruise" he said brushing off what happened.
As we approached the doors in front of the school.

"Why did we breakup?"

I opened and closed my mouth. I was speechless.
"You know why." I said
After that we walked inside the school. I walked over to my locker to find Dylan against it. I guess he's waiting for me.
"Bye I'll see you in 1st period" I said when I turned to Matthew knowing he saw Dylan.
"Bre-
"What do you want?"
"I-I'm sorry"
I rolled my eyes. Does he expect me to crawl back to him as soon as he says sorry. I'm sorry but that's not the case. I mean who does this to their friend. Who dates their best friend enemy who stay talking shit about their best friend. Honestly I don't even know what to do anymore.

"Cmon Bre, you know you can't stay mad at me" he whispered in my ear.
I pushed him off trying to create more space between us because I know I wouldn't be able to stay mad at him.
I slammed my locker in his face  and started walking to class a bit more faster than usual. Hopefully he doesn't follow me.

"Bre"
He did.
"Bre"
"Bre" a little bit louder
I felt someone's hand wrapped around my wrist halting me to a stop. I turned to see him with an annoyed expression on my face.
"What do you want?" I said trying to get out of his grip.
Obviously that didn't work. Everybody in the hallway is going to their classes. Every few seconds passing the hallway is getting more empty.
"Please Bre forgive me, you know I love you" 'Not the way I want you to'I thought.
"Cmon" he said pulling me closer to him with a pouty face.

No nope uh uh don't fall for it.
"Please"
And that did it
"Fine" I sighed
"Yes!" He fist pumped then picked me up

"Oh my fucki- put me down I gotta go to class that you already got me late too"
As soon as he saw how serious I was he put me down. "Sorry babe" he winked at me as I rolled my eyes trying not to acknowledge the butterflies in my stomach.

I'm in English not even paying attention to the teacher. As soon as I try to focus my mind drifts to one person and one person only.

Dylan.

Why am I so easy? Why did I forgive him so easily when he hurt me to many times I cant count? Am I really this stupid?

"Um miss Jackson please explain to me why you are not paying attention to my class," Ms. Asher asked me with a hand on her hip.

I never really liked Ms. Asher she's not too skinny but she not thick but she always liked to pick a student out in class.

As soon at her breathe hit my face my neck snapped away from her. A few of my classmates chuckled at my reaction.
Everyone always said that she sucked Mr. Walkers dick.

Ms. Asher looked at me waiting for my answer. "Sorry mam," I said looking at her trying act like I am actually sorry.
After a couple seconds of silence she turned and went back to her lesson

It's lunch and I'm carrying a tray of today's lunch searching for the table where me and the rest usually sit.

"Hey girl" Jayda said hesitantly as soon as I sat between her and Anyah. I look around to see everybody looking awkward staring right behind. I turned around that answer why everybody lines behaviour changed.
