Honeymoon (Mileena x Tanya)

It was a lovely service in outworld. They had a gorgeous wedding just inside the palace. Of course the palace was their home, but both Tanya and Mileena wanted a smaller wedding, so did Kitana.

Even if Kitana was supportive of their wedding, she knew that many people and Edinians would not. Tanya's role in their eyes was to defend and guard Mileena, not marry her.

It was quiet and held only inside the palace. Important people like the palaces staff and such were invited, as well. Syzoth, and Liu Kang had been there as well, though that was it.

Mileena and Tanya left the after party just a little after the first dance. It was a nice party, but it got boring fast. It was a traditional wedding to the Edinians, very classy and not a lot of space for funner things.

"I'm so glad Kitana covered for us." Mileena says leaning onto her newly wed wife. Tanya smiles down to her side. They had finally gotten married. It was peaceful. They finally got to be together. 

"Shall we leave early?" Mileena asks. "Of course." Tanya stares into her wife's eyes, they were beautiful. "I'll get the carriage." Tanya walks into another hallway, quickly coming back to gather Mileena. Who had her some of their clothing packed. 

 Mileena takes Tanya's arm again, they rush through the main throne room where all the party guests were. They get through successfully  and see their carriage. a man smiles at them from the outside seat, ready to leave. 

It was nice for Mileena to be out of the throne for some time, even if it was just a week. It got to be a lot of pressure for her,  and it seemed Kitana wanted to have the power of an empress. It worked out for both of them. 

Tanya and Mileena get into the carriage, they start moving to their destination.

The carriage stops and the two women get out. their destination was quiet and quaint. They had rented out a cabin in the forest. It was pretty and near a beautiful lake. Mileena wanted it to be a calming place due to her disease. She didn't want to be around others and put them in danger. 

Tanya checks them into their room as Mileena waits beside her. 

They get to their room and Mileena puts the bags onto the bed. 

"Why don't we go for dinner?" She asks Tanya. "That would be lovely, empress." Tanya smiles. Mileena gives out a little chuckle. "You don't need to call me that, you're my wife." She goes closer to Tanya, grabbing her arm softly. "Fine, Milly." Tanya grabs her back.

Dinner went well, they talked of many things, making each other laugh. Eventually they both finished their food and went back to the room for some well needed sleep. 

The wedding was nice, but the planning was hard and stressful. Everything needed to be perfect. And it was. They were both happy, falling asleep in each others arms, they were in the happiest state of mind they could be in.
