Chapter 9

Beyoncés POV

" Onika don't start with that I'm going out with my friends and that's that" I told her sternly as I finished doing my hair

"But Beyoncé what if something happens like someone robs you or they kill you" Onika Whined to me

"Onika nothing will happen to me okay"I told her as we made eye contact

I turned around and she cupped my cheek

"But babyyyy pleaseee I don't want anything to happen to you" she said to me while caressing my cheek

"I know Onika but nothing has ever happened before when I went out"I told her grabbing her wrist caressing her hand

"I know but baby I don't want Michelle thinking she can make passes at you" she told me with tears in her eyes

"Baby she won't make passes at me I promise"I told her

"I love you more then I love myself baby and if something was to happen to you or someone tries to take you from me I will go insane" she told me

"Baby nothing will happen I promise"

"Your not going beyonce"she said gripping my cheek

I snatched her hand down and said

"Onika I'm going no ifs or ands about it"

"Fine Beyoncé but when something happens to you all ima say is I told you so"she told me then stomped into her room slamming the door

I sighed as I left the house meeting my friends outside my dorm house so we can walk to the local bar

"Wait Kelly take my picture"

Kelly grabbed my phone and snapped the picture of me

2 hours later.....

"Beyoncé how's everything with onika" my bestie Kelly asked has we sat down at the bar

"Everything is going good I'm learning to trust her again" I told her as I ordered a shot

"That's good just know if something happens your lord then welcome to come stay with me okay"Kelly told me

"Okay"I responded as I took the shot

We danced a little longer until we decided to go to this college house party

"Where's onika" Michelle asked

"Shes at home right now"I told her while getting me a drink

That's when I heard shots go off and people started screaming

I ducked down under the table trying to hide

Then I saw the door was close by and it was open

That's when I ran out the door grabbing Kelly's hand on the way out

As we were running more shots went off

and that's when I dropped down grabbing my stomach groaning

"BEYONCÉ" I heard Kelly scream As I held my stomach

Kelly dropped down to her Knees helping me

"Beyoncé stay with me the ambulance are on the way" she said takes off her jacket putting it on my bullet wound

I started closing my eyes as Kelly screamed for me to keep them open

"BEYONCÉ NO" was the last thing I heard before it went black

Onika's POV

I was sitting in bed when I got a call from Beyoncé I smiled so hard but my smile faded as I answered the phone

"Hey onika" I heard from a familiar voice
It sounded like they were crying

"Hey who is this" I asked confused

"It's Kelly umm Beyoncé got shot and I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the hospital"she told me crying

I burst into tears while rushing to get dressed

"I'm on the way" I told Kelly before hanging up

When I got to the hospital I ran to Kelly and asked what happened

Kelly explained what went down up until the time Beyoncé got shot

I was full on crying my eyes out

When the doctors came me and Kelly  stood up going towards them

"So Beyoncé almost died from how much blood she lost but we were able to save her" The doctor told us which made us start crying happy tears

"Can we see her"I asked

"Yes this way"they took me too her room and I ran over there kissing her face

After a few minutes me and Kelly bonded a little getting to know each other

My phone started ringing and I saw a no caller ID

"I'll be right back Kelly"I told her as I walked out the hospital door

I answered the phone

"So did it work"the person on the phone asked

"Yes but dummy I told you to scare her a little not almost kill her"I said looking side to side making sure no one is coming

"My bad I just wanted to scare her a little bit more"he said

"Mhmm Shawn I'll send you your money after she gets out the hospital"I told him

"Alright"he responded before he hung up

I came back to the room and Beyoncé was awake

"Hey baby how are you feeling"I asked her golf to gee bed side

"I'm doing I guess" she told me holding her arms out

I went into her arms kissing her lips before sitting in the bed with her

"Onika I'm sorry you were right I should have went out this weekend I'm sorry"she said to me

"It's okay baby it's just a lesson learned right" I asked

"Right"she said before laying down on my boob

I ran my hands through her hair until I felt myself get sleepy

"Alright ima go bye y'all" Kelly said before turning off the lights leaving

Me and Beyoncé stayed up a little longer before i finally decided to go to sleep
