The first schoolday

I didn't know how to react, I was in shock. My eyes slowly filled with tears and I couldn't hold them back any longer, I stood up and hugged Kris „Thank you.", I softly whispered. „Not for this! We are probably happier that you joined us than, you are about being asked to join us...", Kris chuckled, „...since you entered our life's, we've all been very happy and we wanted you to join us, so that we could protect you, from the first moment we've met you... And now let's celebrate our new member!"

Monday...

POV. Tao

It is a monday morning, exactly 6:50 o'clock. I sit at the dining table slowly eating my bacon, while staring dreamingly at the wall as if it was the most interesting thing I've ever seen... I can't sympathieze enough how much I hate mondays... 

My mind still hasn't woken up, yet... This was the reason, I didn't hear what the others were talking about, but I didn't care much they already know I have problems concentrating in the morning and that I need a little alone time, which they normally respected. So I was really confused, when my tired gaze wanders around the faces of the others, who were all looking back at me as if they were expecting anything from me. Confused I opened my mouth: "What were you saying?", the others were looking at me amused when Kris spoke up:"Tao I was just saying that, I've talked with the school and have asked them to put Kyungsoo in your class!", I only nodded. 

After breakfast...  

„Kyungsoo have you packed all your schoolbooks in your bag", the youngest nodded in reply to Suho, „You go better check once more in your room, you can't forget something on your first day in your new school", "Okay, hyung I check once more.", he smiled while running up the stairs, when officially joining our Pack he got his own room so that Lay could have his room back. As soon as the door closed behind him, Kris turned towards us and said with a serious face: "I want you to take care of him and protect him! His healing factor is really low so make sure he doesn't get injured by other students!" We all noded to signal him that we'll do so. „You didn't need to tell us so we would have taken care of him either way!", finally Chanyeol said and another wave of nods went through the room. Before Kris could reply anything the silence was broken „I have everything, what were you talking about?", Kyungsoo asked curious. „Nothing important, Kris just asked us to show you around in school, but we would have done so anyways!", Kai answered and with that we started to make our way to school. We walked 20 minutes before reaching the school, we could have done it in less than 5 minutes but why should we? We weren't late or anything. 

As soon as we entered the school gate, I felt all eyes on us and immediately I was annoyed, I know that we have saved and helped the town multiple times, that's why we are called „The Guardian Angels of Gwangju", but why do they always stare at us as if we are animals in a zoo? We are going to this school for years, you would think it would become normality but no... 

„Hi guys, how have you been over the weekend?", I stopped because of a girl blocking our way, Ahri was her name and she is a total attention seeker, together with her little gang, she trys to start to date one of us to become a part of our famous and feared pack... I was already annoyed, and I could already tell the others were too, especially Sehun and Baekhyun seemed to be really unimpressed by her attempts of communication. Chanyeol who was standing protective in front of Kyungsoo gave his best efforts to hide his annoyance, when he said:"It was good, but we have to catch our classes, I am very sorry." „Chanyeol, I heard Codex-Keepers were at your               Pack-House what was it about?", she hugged his arm and tried to act cute, which made me cringe hard but also relieved to not be in his place! I had to hold back my laughter, when I saw the suffering in his face, with which I earned myself a death stare.
