Friends: at the beginning no, but then you befriend the digidestined and your digimon 🙂
Background info: you are neglected by your parents because they are too busy, so you taught yourself everything you know. You were then forced to go to summer camp where you meet the 01 gang, and then eventually, your digimon partners!
The Digimon characters will be yan, almost all of them platonic
Tai, Matt: older, platonic yandere brothers
Joe, Izzy: platonic yandere brothers
Sora: older, platonic yander sister
Mimi:platonic sister
TK: younger, platonic brother
Kari: younger, platonic sister
The digimon themselves will start off as platonic, but the more they digivolve further into their lines(Champion, Ultimate, Mega), the more romantic yandere they will be as their obsession will grow(this shows alot more in 02 as in 01, it's still more platonic.
