All of us scream as we crash into the river below and Gomamon calls out to his fish friends to create a raft for us, but Kuwagamon crashes into the river, separating you, Coronamon, and Lunamon from the others as they call out to you three. You grab onto Coronamon and Lunamon, grabbing ahold of a tree root as your digimon clings to you. You can distantly hear the others call out your name as they disappear past a ledge. The tree root suddenly breaks, sending the tree of you down the river, but down a separate path from the ones the others took. You did your best to get the three of you to safety, but it was becoming increasingly harder and harder to keep your head above water while carrying Lunamon and Coronamon, who was trying to help you out by calling for help. Suddenly, the three of you were picked up and carried to land by...something. You coughed up some water while Coronamon and Lunamon shook the water out of their fur. You looked up and saw...a bird man? The bird man had yellow feathers, clawed human arms, a straw(?) hat, and he was wearing red and yellow clothes with katanas(?) with blue handles. The bird man looked at the three of you with a calculating eye.
Bird Man:...what are you three doing? Don't you know it is dangerous in those waters?
Lunamon: Hey! You're Buraimon!
Y/N:...Buraimon?
Coronamon:*nods* yep! Buraimon is known in these forests as the Outlaw Bird because he doesn't like listening to any rules and does what he wants! His attack is Tsubame Nimai Gaeshi, which cuts his opponents in half!
Buraimon:*eyeing Coronamon* well....thank you for that introduction I suppose....why is there a human in the digital world?
Y/N, who is now sitting down: w-well, my name is Y/N, and these are-
Buraimon, cutting Y/N off: Lunamon and Coronamon. I am aware of who they are. They wouldn't shut up about having a human partner. I suppose that's you.
Y/N:*blinks and nods* yeah. I-i'm not entirely sure how i'm here...There was a tidal wave, then me and the others woke up here...wait...the others! I almost forgot about them!
Buraimon:*raises eyebrow* there are other humans?
Y/N:*nods* y-yeah! We got separated in the river! I-i'm sure they couldn't have gotten far! May you please help us look for them?
Buraimon: What's in it for me?
Y/N:*taken aback* what?
Buraimon: What's in it for me if I help you?
Y/N: i-i don't know...
Buraimon: Then you're own your own kid...
Buraimon opens his wings and flies off as you look down, holding back tears. Lunamon frowns and hugs you while Coronamon bristles and sends fireballs at Buraimon, who easily dodges them.
Coronamon: You're just a big jerk! We don't need your help! We can find the others ourselves!
Buraimon: Sure ya can kid...
Buraimon flies off and Coronamon hugs you as well. After a few minutes, you wipe your tears and shakily stand up. Lunamon and Coronamon look up at you in concern.
Lunamon/Coronamon: Y/n/n....?
Y/N: we can't stay here....we have to find the others. Staying in one place would make us a target ... .What if there are other digimon like Kuwagamon out there? We have to be prepared?
Lunamon and Coronamon look at each other, worried for their partner. They then sigh and nod.
Lunamon: alright, but we would have to move now if we want a chance of finding the others...
