Prince Seokmin watched as the princess started to cry at his words.

That night was the night of the ball. Everyone in the world went to the ball to see if they had the chance to marry the handsome prince, Seokmin.

Seokmin stood on the side with his friends. "Come on man, there are so many cute girls here" King Vernon said. Almost all his friends were married. Seokmin sighed as a girl came up to him. "Prince Seokmin. I am princess of-" Before he could finish, the king walked up. The princess bowed and walked away. "Boys, can you give me some time to talk to my son?"

The boys bowed. "Seokmin" the king started. "You need to stop turning down every princess here. At this rate you will have no one to marry." Seokmin rolled his eyes at his dad. "Father, I have told both of you guys that I don't want to be in a marriage that I don't wants to be in. I don't even know any of these girls." Seokmin started to walk out of the ball room with his dad following him.

They both walked into a room with the queen talking to one of the servers. "Mother, father won't leave me alone about my marriage" The queen gestured to the server to leave the room. "Seokmin, your father has a right. I mean you need to find someone for the throne."

"Mother, I know that, but I don't want any of those princesses." The queen stared at the king. They both looked at Seokmin. "Let we will put you in an arranged marriage with the prince of America, Prince Joshua." The king put on a shocked look.

"But Joshua is a guy. I don't want to marry him. Mother just let me find my perfect wife" Seokmin said to her as the king started to light up a cigarette. "All those princesses out there don't spark your interest, then I will have you marry Joshua. He is part of royalty and is kind and handsome."

"But honey, he is a guy. We would be made fun of." The queen gave the king a death stare. "If those princesses are not Seokmin's type, then maybe Joshua can be and if they do end off hitting it off, then who cares? at least our son will have a partner for the throne and will be happy like he wants" Seokmin didn't know his true type. He knew that none of those princesses were his type. Even the prettiest princesses didn't grab his attention. He didn't mind giving Joshua a shot. Seokmin had seen him around a lot and would like to actually meet him. "Then that settles it. Joshua will fly out here tomorrow" The queen said leaving the room.

The next day Seokmin paced around the hallways waiting for Joshua. One of the maid's came in to check on Seokmin. "You ok master?" Usually, her soft voice and energetic attitude would always at least put a smirk on his face. But not today. "I am scared. What if I find out I am gay, and we actually do get married? Father will kill me." Seokmin began to pace back and forth. "Then you won't like it when I tell you that your wedding is already planned and dated" Seokmin stopped in his tracks.

"What do you mean? When is the wedding" Before the maid could answer, the doorbell rang. Seokmin hesitantly opened the door. Waiting on the other side was Joshua. He had three suitcases with him. "I am prince Seokmin. I believe you are Prince Joshua." Seokmin bowed in front of the older. "Welcome to Korea" Joshua smiled at Seokmin's kindness.

As Joshua walked past Seokmin, Seokmin's heart skipped a beat. Why am I feeing this way? Seokmin asked himself. Seokmin turned around to see his mom bowing and shaking hands with Joshua. "Seokmin, the servers say that dinner might be late tonight. That is plenty of time to get to know your husband" The queen said with the biggest smirk. To be honest, Seokmin just wanted to keep his distance and not want to talk to Joshua. He felt like it was too awkward, and he thought maybe Joshua didn't want to get married to him and did it out of pity.
