The Sorcerer in the Walls

Trost (Part 2)

I stood on the roof with Mikasa, Armin, and Connie, watching as a titan was currently beating another titan to death and completely ignoring us.

YN: I have a plan.

The other three turned to me as I watched the titan go after a nearby abnormal.

YN: If we can lead that thing to the headquarters, it can probably kill the other titans around the base.

After debating for a few minutes, the others agreed.

YN: You guys lead it back to base.  I'll take out some of the titans around it so it'll go there sooner.

With that, I grappled off, flying around and slashing out the napes of a few of the titans.  The emo looking titan killed one more, before roaring and running off towards HQ.  Before I could follow, I was smacked out of the air by an abnormal.  I crashed into the ground, grunting as I stood up.  The titan dove towards me, trying to catch me in its mouth.  Suddenly dozens of massive wooden spikes shot out of the ground, impaling the titan.  I quickly slashed its nape out, turning to Hanami.

YN: Thanks Hanami.

Hanami: .NY ,emoclew er'uoY

I'm making it so that self aware curses, like Mahito, Hanami, Jogo, and Dagon can come out at will if YN is in danger.

With that, she vanished.  I grappled onto the roof, heading towards the headquarters, where I found a group of the other trainees watching as the titan from earlier was being eaten by the others.  I landed behind them as Armin looked nervous, pointing at an approaching titan.

Armin: That's... the titan that ate Thomas.

Suddenly, the emo titan let out a deafening roar and shook the other titans off, charging towards the abnormal that ate Thomas.  It clamped its jaws around the titans nape, picking it up and crushing it, before falling to its knees.  Suddenly, a burst of steam erupted from the titan's nape.

YN: Is it dead?

Suddenly Mikasa and Armin jumped off the roof, heading towards the titan.  Then I noticed a figure in the steam.  My eyes widened.

YN: That's... Eren.

Jean: You're saying that Eren... did all this?

TIMESKIP

I stood with Eren, Armin, and Mikasa on top of the wall.  Pixis and my mom walked up to us.

Armin: Captain Geto?

Kaori: It's good to see you three again.

She smiled at them, and Pixis began to question Armin on what his plan was.  My mother walked over to me as I stared down at the titans looking up at us.

Kaori: Something on your mind, YN?

YN: I'm worried the Armored Titan will show up again.

Kaori: Then why don't you reinforce the gate?

YN: I've thought of it.  Hanami could do it, but I don't know how we could explain off a massive wall of branches suddenly appearing over one of the gates.

Kaori: I don't think it matters.  Your powers have nothing to do with titans, so it's not like anyone can accuse you of being a titan like they did Eren.  And... Commander Erwin gave you the go ahead as well.

My eyes widened.  Commander Erwin, the current leader of the Scout Regiment.  The branch I intended to enlist in.

YN: I didn't know he was aware of my powers.

Kaori: Regardless, you are probably the biggest trump card humanity has.  Even more so than Eren.  If anyone can do this, it's you.

I nodded.  She ran off down along the wall, giving orders to other soldiers as she went.  Pixis walked past me, winking at me as I jumped off the wall, falling towards the gate.  I heard Eren, Mikasa, and Armin calling after me as I grappled onto a building.  I heard Pixis begin yelling to the soldiers on the other side, and I manifested Hanami.

YN: Hanami, I need you to reinforce the gate, but only on this side.  Make it about five meters thicker.

Hanami: .NY ,llew yreV

Hanami raised her arm, and massive branches erupted out of the ground, twisting and wrapping over the gate.  Once I was confident that nothing could get through, I nodded to Hanami, who vanished.  I grappled back up to the top of the wall, where Eren, Mikasa, and Armin looked stunned.

Eren: YN?

Armin: What just-

YN: It's not important right now, I'll tell you guys later.  What's the plan?

Armin explained the plan for Eren to pick up the boulder and plug the hole.  I nodded as a soldier walked up to me.

Ian: YN Geto, right?  I'm Ian Mitabi.  I was told to let you know that you'd be going ahead of us to lessen the titans around the boulder. 

YN: Pleasure to meet you, Ian.  Should I go now?

Ian nodded.  I turned to the others.

YN: Well, see you guys after the operation.  Eren... you got this.

With that, I jumped off the wall, heading towards the boulder.
