YN: Eren, when are you gonna learn to just wait for Mikasa and I?

Eren: Well they clearly ran away from me, so it's fine!

Armin: No, I'm pretty sure they ran away cause Mikasa and YN were coming.

I sighed, helping Armin to his feet.

YN: You alright, Armin?

Armin nodded, smiling.  We all walked over to the canal, the others sitting on the edge while I leaned against the wall behind them.  They started talking about something, but for some reason... I felt like something bad was about to happen.

Eren: YN!

I snapped out of my thoughts as Eren was looking at me.

Eren: I've been saying your name for like a minute.  You okay?

YN: Yeah I'm okay.  Sorry, just blanked out for a bit.

Eren: Alri-

He was cut off by a deafening boom and the ground shaking.  The three of them jumped up as I ran out into the street, looking towards where the sound had come from... only to see a massive red hand grab the top of the wall.

YN: No... it can't be... the wall is fifty meters high!

The four of us watched in horror as a giant head emerged.  It looked like it had no skin.  Suddenly, there was another boom and a large chunk of the wall exploded.  Debris went flying, crushing houses and people alike.

Armin: We have to evacuate!  If there's a hole, titans will come inside!

Eren: Mom...

We all turned towards him as he pointed in the direction that some of the larger chunks had flown towards.

Eren: Mom was at home...

He and Mikasa took off running.  I turned to Armin.

YN: You should find your grandpa.  I'm going to find Hitch.

Armin nodded and I ran off in the direction of Hitch's house.  On my way there, I found her parents running towards the boats.

YN: Mr. and Mrs. Dreyse!

They turned towards me, and I realized they both looked worried.

Mrs. Dreyse: YN, thank goodness you're not hurt.  Have you seen Hitch?

YN: No, I was going to your house to find her.

Mr. Dreyse: She said she was going to see you, and left just before the wall broke.

YN: Please get to the boats, I'll find her.  I promise!

They reluctantly ran ahead.  Once I was confident they were gone, I closed my eyes.

YN: Yin.

A black puddle formed, and out of it rose a black wolf with a red mark on his forehead.

(YN named the Demon Dogs.  Yin is the black dog, and Yang is the white dog)

YN: Yin, find Hitch.

Yin sniffed the air, then ran off.  I ran after him, and he stopped in front of an alley.  I patted his head and he disappeared, then I turned the corner, finding Hitch hiding behind a food cart, looking terrified.

YN: Hitch!

I ran over and she looked surprised, standing up.

Hitch: YN?  How did you find me?

YN: Your parents said you were looking for me.  I just went in the direction they pointed.  Now come on, we have to get to the boats.

We began running, but were cut off as a massive figure stepped out into the street in front of us.  My eyes widened and we stopped, backing away as the titan turned towards us.

Hitch: Oh god... we're dead...

YN: No we're not.

I pushed her behind me as she looked confused.

YN: You can't tell anyone what you're about to see, okay?

She nodded.

YN: Thank you, Hitch.  Nue!

The giant bird materialized in front of me, flying towards the titan.  The titan reached for it, but Nue maneuvered around its hand, slashing the titan's eyes with its talons.  The titan roared in pain as Nue flew back, picking Hitch and I up off the ground and flying towards the boats.  Nue dropped us in an alley near the dock, and disappeared.

Hitch: What just happened...

YN: I've always had that ability... I don't know why.  Like I said... please don't tell anyone.

Hitch threw her arms around me, hugging me tight as my face heated up.

Hitch: I won't.  Thank you for saving me.

I smiled, hugging her back.  We separated and ran for the boats.
