Do the trees think
They're not green enough,
Tall enough,
Or brown enough?Does the sky feel blue
Because its not bright enough,
Clear enough,
Or High enough?Looking into the mirror
Irony hits me
A mirror never lies
Yet it doesIt tells me
Who I am
What I am
But it doesn't quite get me enoughIt throws insecurities
Right at my face
And burries all my strengths
Traps me in its mazeMirror never told me
That I can write
He never reminds me
I'm the apple of my parents' eyeMirror doesn't say
That I can fly
Or Brighter than the sun
I can shineNo the sky never feels
that he's not enough
Nor does a tree
tries to imitate the otherA mirror never lies yet it does
It tells me who I am and what I am.
But forgets to remind me that
I AM ENOUGH.--------------------------------
