Your heart stops beating or beats so rapidly that you can't catch your breath, and you're terrified because you don't know what's going to happen next.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Base verse)

The scripture underlines the significance of trusting and acknowledging the Lord in all facets of life. It brings to mind Jeremiah 17:9, which says

"The human heart is the most deceitful of all thing..."

When we try to understand God and His methods through the limitations of man's imagination or logic, we may be tempted to lose faith. Consider how our emotions, whether they are rage, love, or hatred, may easily guide and even overtake us. They may appear infinite while being experienced, hence the deception.

However, when you build your faith and trust in God on His word, you will be able to find peace because you will recognize that His Word, like God, is constant.

This is why, as we strengthen our confidence in God, we must relinquish our preconceived notions and emotions, which might confuse our knowledge of reality and God.

Consider the dread you experience when you receive bad news, whether it's a death or a misplaced item, or anything in between; if you're swayed by fear, your approach will influence the moment and consequence. But when you know that God is still in control of life, that He has power over death, that He can cure you and guide you through everything, you will learn to react with this knowledge in mind, and the problems you meet in life will not seem so grave.

So believe what God has said, and you will find your feet on solid footing on the other side of anything you confront in your life.
