A poster of the subscribe button hangs in the background. Two photos are on a desk, one with Kang's title win at Inception, and the other right before his loss to Bruno.

Kang: That title was the best thing to happen to me, but all good things come to an end. One minute you've reached the top, and the next you're back at the bottom wondering what went wrong. I thought heading to a new show would get me back to gold, but all it did was tell me I'm not good enough.

Kang leans in closer.

Kang: I won't settle for that! Banuelos, when we first met I underestimated you. The next time we meet, don't make the same mistake. I will do whatever it takes to claim what I desire.  This isn't personal Banuelos, but if you screw me over, I'll sink to your level.

He leans back.

Kang: To the Order, this wasn't your business to begin with. If I didn't get sent to Emission, we'd be trading the belt back and forth. So take your "quest for gold" and shove it because that title isn't yours to take.

The camera zooms out and starts to fade. This newer Kang has no fucks left to give, it's all about the title. Doesn't matter if it's Bruno or The Order in his way.

The Residential Interview Area

Ron: I'm here with Miles "Tails" Prower.

Tails: Hehe, never done one of these, go easy on me.

Ron: I just got a couple questions, you'll be fine. So a weird compass showed up at your workshop, and my sources say it belongs to Davy Jones.

Tails: I should have known this would happen after we took out Sonic. But just because he's out, doesn't mean I'm backing down. I can hold my own without Sonic, and it's about time I prove it! It's fun at workshop, but if I want to get anywhere I have to take it to the ring eventually.

Ron: You don't seem to be alone in the Davy conflict, since LUIGI gave you the heads up.

Tails: We don't see "Nintendo" or "SEGA," when one of us are in danger, we're going to let the other know. Mario and Sonic don't hate each other as much as people think.

Ron: That's cool, but Davy's coming for two of YOU.

Tails: He seems like a monster, but everyone has a weakness somewhere. I won't say my strategy cause he clearly watches every time a camera's pointed at me, but if Luigi can't find something, I will.

Ron: Are you worried about Luigi? He could be a target for all we know.

Tails: I've got faith in him. It's a risk he took by letting me know. I'm rooting for him tonight, because even though we don't know how Markus works, Luigi's got the experience by his side. He can outmaneuver him to get the win.

Ron: Thanks for your time and um..stay safe dude.

Tails: Will do...wait, weren't you just playing Gang Beasts?

Ron: A talent watches the show, shocking.

Tails: Got room for player three?

Ben enters the room, in his wrestling gear.

Ben: Tails, kit of the hour.

Tails: ..This is surprising.

Ben: A champion can't game?

Tails: I didn't know he was playing with you. You know, The Order's running around, the Wario's are after you, and you're just...calm about it. No contingency plans, no protection, nothing.

Ben: Do YOU have contingency plans?

Tails: Just incase they take out our defense and come for the new stars. But I'm an over thinker.

Ben: Look, I used to stress too much. Once I cut that habit, it helped me get to where I am now. It's not war all the time

Tails: You have too much to deal with though.

Ben: You've got Davy Jones on you and asked to join. Look, I'm not a workaholic like you are, but if you wanna see why I'm the champion...let's scrap.

He pulls out the games cover again, and the kit smirks.

Tails: Well...maybe I should chill out sometimes. This may be the last chance to take a break before things get crazy.

Ben: They already are, and it's going to get worse. Now come get this heat.
