- A/u's pov -
The both of them stood in the same place in silence for a few seconds as their eyes were locked on each other's, both having the same cold expression.
Then as riki's eyes moved down to sunoo's neck, he could see how red it was but when he looked back up again to meet sunoo's eyes, he could tell that he wasn't bothered or afraid of pain...like he's used to it all his life.
One thing riki was good at was understanding the pain of others, it was like he could see the darkness and the cold aura that surrounded them, like how it surrounded him.
Then as if the both of them sensed something, they both turned their eyes towards the entrance as they heard the sounds of the sirens a few seconds later.
When sunoo saw the police entering the restaurant, they looked around the place to see that it was a mess, they then turned their focus on the two of them and the guy on the ground.
"We got a report of a man assaulting a women and another man" the police spoke up as sunoo heaved a deep sigh while riki closed his eyes and massaged his temples.
"I-i made the report, that man over there used violence on those two people" the restaurant owner nervously lifts her hand up and then points at the guy on the ground.
"Those who were involved in the scene, please cooperate with us at the police station" the police then came up to sunoo, his sisters, riki and the guy as they escorted them out of the restaurant and into the police cars.
His older sister stayed closely by his side in the vehicle while sunoo held his little sister in his arms, sunoo could see how scared and traumatized they both looked.
When will he ever have a peaceful and proper meal with his siblings?
- At the police station -
"So you're saying that you witnessed him pulling your sister's hair when you got out of the washroom, correct?" Asked the detective as he questioned sunoo.
"That is correct, sir" sunoo replied as the detective nodded and typed something down on the computer.
Then the detective looks up at the guy who had his head low, looking all guilty of his recent actions.
"Mr.yoon, I'm not surprised to see you again after being charged with multiple assaults from previous records" the detective then leans forward on his desk while judging him.
Riki on the other hand, was sitting at the back along with sunoo's little sister who was busy playing with a toy. He had his arms and legs crossed as his eyes burned through the guy's back.
"Can i get some words from your sister? Since she witnessed from the start, she could help in explaining more of the details" the detective then asked sunoo as he turned to his sister who was sitting beside him and looking anywhere else but at everyone in the room.
She was tapping her foot on the ground and squeezed her hands together as she avoided everyone's eye contact, she hated being around the police the most, and it brought her horrible memories of her, sunoo could see it clearly.
Sunoo frowned before moving closer to her and putting his warm hands on top of hers to comfort her. When sunoo did that, she flinched a bit from his touch. Riki looked over at the two of them, thinking deeply about something.
"I-i'm sorry if i did something wrong! I promise i won't do it again! I'm sorry, please forgive me!" She started apologizing excessively even though she did nothing wrong, and she was getting carried away with her emotions.
"Please don't punish me, i didn't mean to-"
"Noona!" Sunoo suddenly raised his voice at her as she got surprised and froze from his raised voice. Everyone was a bit startled by sunoo, but riki was smirking while watching the whole thing.
