- 2 days later -

Ni-ki and yeon hee were on their way to his parents's place to join dinner and talk about some plans like always. It was a bit quiet inside the car, but yeon hee was curious about something.

"Ni-ki?" She looked over at him.

"What is it?" He replied without taking his eyes off the road.

"Remember that boy...who died a long time ago?"

When she suddenly mentioned about that boy, his hands tightened on the steering wheel when he was reminded of him and what happened to him. He was more frustrated that he couldn't remember who he was or how he looked.

He lost his memories of him because of an accident. Perhaps he's the reason why he can't seem to love anymore or feel their love... because he was the first person who taught him love.

But he's trying his best to forget him even though he's long gone.

"What about him?" He tried to sound unbothered by the mention of him.

"You still have that photo of him, don't you?" Ni-ki went silent for a moment as he thought about the photo that be had framed and left ln his table by his bed.

"I'm going to throw it away soon" he says as she looked at him with a shocked expression.

"Why would you throw it away? Wasn't he special to you?"

"There's no point in keeping a memory of someone who i can't even remember or someone who was part of the painful side of my memory" his words made yeon hee frown.

She decided to leave it there since she didn't want to see him hurt like that or anger him because of his past memories that made him so broken and live without being able to feel the most important emotions.

So instead, she looked out the window and observed the view. Ni-ki could never get mad at yeon hee even when she brings up sensitive topics. He understood that she only wanted to help him and make him hurt less.

Ever since he was young, he couldn't really feel the excitement of life and it always made him feel so cold and indifferent towards the other people. He was a child who didn't receive proper love from anybody...or no love at all.

"Isn't that sunoo?"

As she suddenly brought up his name again, he looked at her side and found sunoo walking with his sisters.

-

After sunoo went with his sisters to the seafood market and bought some delicious seafood that they're going to cook and enjoy with them, they walked home again since the buses weren't running in that area.

Sunoo was actually enjoying walking home because it felt refreshing and the views around them were nice. After that bus accident, he didn't really like taking buses as much anymore.

While sunoo was talking to his sister, he suddenly noticed a car pulling up infront of them a few meters away. Sunoo was wondering if they stopped for themselves or for him, but when he saw a familiar person step out of the car, that when he realized it was because of him.

It was yeon hee. Sunoo remembered her right away when she began approaching him with a smile on her face. She was one with a bright and kind personality and sunoo knew she was also the type of person who loves making friends even though he had never properly talked to her.

And stepping out of the driver's seat, sunoo's eges met with ni-ki who rolled his eyes at him before walking up to them. They always found eachother annoying every time they encountered each other.

"Hello, sunoo! It's nice to meet you again!" She greeted as sunoo returned an awkward smile.

For some reason, he didn't like being around her because she was too friendly to him, and he didn't like it went people get too close to him or went to interact with him. He likes to stay in his own space.

"I asked ni-ki to get your number, but i guess he forgot" she chuckled as sunoo looked over to see ni-ki avoiding eye contact.

"Do you mind giving me your number? I know we just met, but i really want to get to know you" she requested, but sunoo was a bir hesitant and he didn't want to come off as a rude person Infront of her.

For some reason, sunoo ended up giving her his number anyways because like he said, he didn't want to feel rude and she looked like no harm to him.

"Thank you!" She smiled excitedly after giving her his number.

"No problem" sunoo smiled back, but then he got caught off guard with the next question she asked him.

"Since you recently returned from studying abroad, where are you staying at? Or are you living with someone?" She asked. Sunoo didn't know how to reply to that question as he looked over at ni-ki who stayed calm.

"My house...well uhm..my house is-" at this point, he didn't even want to lie but ni-ki wouldn't let him tell the truth.

"He's living with me right now" the way his words came out so smoothly without a single utter made sunoo surprised. His sisters were also shook as they just stood there like stones.

"W-wait, we never agree-" sunok was gonna stop him from going too far, but ni-ki still didn't let him.

"He's living with me and his two sisters" he gestures at sunoo's sisters who were confused.

"It's nice to meet the both of you!" She then greets them with a warm smile as they did the same.

"But where are you all going at this hour?" She then asks with curiosity.

"Oh...well we're jusr heading home right now" sunoo forced a smile and hid the bags of seafood behind him so she doesn't see it.

"And you're walking there? Why don't we take you back to ni-ki's place by car?" She insisted, but sunoo politely declined.

"Oh, no it's fine, we like to walk a lot and we don't mind it. Don't worry and go on your way, you must be busy"

She was hesitant, but she nodded in understanding since she knew that she couldn't keep ni-ki's parents waiting for too long.

And then she remembered something important that she needed to tell them since she really wanted him to be a part of it.

"Can you come to our friends reunion dinner tomorrow night, sunoo? I would really like it if you come and i really want you to make it" she takes his hand and asks him as sunoo was shook again.

Dinner with a bunch of random strangers who he has never met before was a definite no for him, and sunoo never agreed on ant of it in the first place. Now he was trapped.

"Uhm, i don't th-" before he could even complete his sentence, her phone started ringing.

"Oh! We have to go now, but i really hope you can make it, sunoo-shi. I'll be waiting for you to come to the dinner with ni-ki!" She quickly says and then drags ni-ki with her back to the car before sunoo could even say anything else to her.

Ni-ki just looks back at sunoo and shrugs before getting into the car and driving off with yeon hee.

"She scares me...i don't like it a single bit" sunoo said as he watched them drive off. Now he was really stuck.
