"Everette isn't going to collapse if you find someone to sleep with at night, Aiyana." Carmina snickered, pouring herself something to drink out of her sister's huge fridge. Looking over at her younger sister, keeping busy and doing her very best at ignoring what she has to say. "I'm telling you, Yana. You shouldn't miss out on this, plus! You don't know when your heart will stop beating. What if you never get to experience real love?" Aiyana groaned in response, they've been over this several times already, and it's like in every party and every occasion, It's the same nagging she'll hear from her older sister.

Rolling her eyes as she had no other choice but to listen to her older sister talk proudly of her husband and three kids, talking in sync as she said her favorite repetitive line, "The pride and joy of my life~" Clearing her throat and shutting her laptop off, she faced Carmina. "I love you, and my nieces and nephew, but I'm way too busy for this Ina, so please-" She grabbed her coat mid sentence, excusing herself from the presence of her own sister in her own home.

Walking outside is easily her most favorite way to de-stress. There's this favorite street of hers that isn't busy but also isn't empty. That sweet spot right in the middle, where children can play and flowers bloomed. A park bench right below the yellow bell tree, she often found herself thinking. And this time around, it wasn't her company's arising problems, it was her own.

" Dating is so overrated. " She thought to herself, rolling her eyes but couldn't help but think about the life she wanted as a young girl. Releasing a breath, it seems everything keeps coming back. The dream of being a working mama, with a daughter and husband to come home to, with a warm fire or soup's fragrance in the air. A tear fell from her cheek, yet she couldn't feel a thing. Words echoing in her head. "I would never have a child with you."

A little girl walked up to her, snapping her out of her thoughts. "Sad?" she asked innocently. "Oh! No, no I'm okay sweetie." She wiped her cheek. The little girl looked down on her two small hands, debating on whether to give one of her lollipops or keep it all to herself. With a small smile, she placed the yellow candy on Aiyana's lap, and ran away before the woman could even open her mouth.

Taking the small candy, unwrapping it and placing it in her mouth, she got up and called a cab to get to her office. Smiling softly, thinking to herself. "What a sweet kid. Must have nice parents."
