Johnny felt tired seeing all these roads. He felt sick hearing the sound of the paving under his wheelchair. That's why his best friend Gyro pulled him on this mountain trip on horses. When they first met Johnny was already paraplegic in his legs, unable to stand up or walk for years. They started becoming friends when Gyro decided to help him for his daily tasks, they soon spent downright their whole days hanging together and became close friends. Johnny had depressive tendencies, something Gyro didn't want to see in his friend. The two of them alone in fields, forests and mountain was Gyro's idea;  johnny could walk without the wheelchair he despites and without worries of the inside world. A day flew by and Johnny as still not complaining, he felt happy to spend his time with his caring friend, the best he had.

But soon, Johnny grew tired, especially because of his horse who kept taking a break to eat, the clouds getting grey and Gyro's unending voice, joking around and singing stupid songs he made up. He didn't hate that, but it's been 5 hours of this.

Gyro: wanna hear a good one ?

Johnny (with a slightly  irritated voice): ...Go on.

Gyro: Do you know the story about the penguin that breathes through its butt ?

Johnny: you already told me, he sat down and died.

Gyro laughs hysterically at his own joke despite having told it already the same afternoon. It doesn't make johnny laugh anymore.

Gyro: HEHEEEEEE !! Come on, it was good ! Makes me wheeze every time !

Johnny: I would've found it funny if it wasn't the FIFTIETH TIME YOU'VE TOLD IT !

Johnny sighs and looks at the distance, there is no traces of any other humans around. And he got to be stuck  with the worse clown ever. Gyro looks disapointed by johnny's reaction, but he wants his friend to feel better.

Gyro thinks for a second before smiling: uhmm...okay, this one, I just made it up, you can't know it. So... Why can't a hen fly ?

Johnny: uh... I don't know, why ?

Gyro, holding back his laughter: Because chicken't do anything.

Johnny takes time to process the joke, at first he did not get it because of Gyro's italian accent. But soon he chuckles and grins, relaxing a bit more after the bad pun. Gyro starts laughing to himself and wiping tears from the corner of his eyes.

Johnny: hah...hehe, I guess this one is kind of good. Did you really just made it up ?

Gyro: W...Why, of course I did ! I'm just that good. He marks a pause and looks at Johnny who is finally smiling. Are you done  pouting man ?

The two boys were now smiling, while the horses they rented were taking slow steps, whinning occasionally. Johnny felt more free now that heseems the same height as Gyro, he's almost forgetting his handicap. Gyro was pleased to be with his dear friend, he gives him a slight slap on his back in a friendly way. That makes Johnny flinch of surprise but return a small tap of gyro's shoulder. The horses, however, are not enjoying their proximity, they neigh at each other while Gyro's horse, Valkyrie, stands on two feet. Johnny is taken aback and caresses the horse's neck, while Gyro raises his voive and clings to the saddle.

Gyro: Wow, wow ! Easy there, what's wrong with you ?!

Johnny can't help but notice how talented Gyro is with horses, like he has been riding them his whole life. Gyro manages to calm his horse down, he fixes his long messy hair and sighs from relief. They both laugh it off and look at each other, before a drop crashes on gyro's nose. It's starting to rain...
