Johnny puts his hood on while Gyro has his cowboy hat laid on his hair. Johnny hated the rain, primarly because it made his wheelchair rusty, and of course because of the cold. But this time, while the horses were galloping through the raindrops, Gyro shouted in joy as his hair flew in the wind, he looked happy and freed in the speed of his horse.

Johnny, talking loudly enough for his voice to pierce the sounds of nature's fury: I think we'll have to set a camp for the night and take cover !

Gyro is still laughing, but the sight of a tree catching on fire followed by the deafening sound of thunder brings him back to reality. Gyro and Johnny look around in worry and distress before Gyro suggest the woods. He explains stuff like how he did his military service and how it is the safest solution right now, but Johnny seems more uneasy.

Johnny: the woods ?! You know I hate the dark... And what if there are bears ?

Gyro, snickering: There ain't no bear here dummy. But you know what we can find here ? face eating spiders~

Johnny, covering his ears: Shut up ! If I die today it's your fault !

Gyro laughs louder and they finally enter the woods. The horses slow down and the two boys look left and right for a place to stay the night. Johnny keeps complaining, mistrusting every leaf and branches.

Gyro, in a playful tone: Hey, about the spiders...that was a lie, they don't eat your face. Johnny sighs of relief ...But  they might bite your toe in your sleep.

Johnny grunts again and covers his ears: ahhhh, I can't hear you !

Gyro finds it fun to annoy Johnny like that, it makes him look pretty cute and it was a delight for him to make him flustered. After wandering in the forest Gyro gets on the ground and motions Johnny to get down while tying Valkyrie's saddle to a tree.

Johnny: I can't get down the horse without your help, dumbass.

Gyro let out a "oh" sound and chuckles again, holding Johnny to make him sit on a huge tree root. He reaches for his bag tied to the horse's saddle and starts to unwrap the big tent he had planned for them both. Johnny helps to nail down two of the tent's corner; the ground his moist and the trees shield from the wind, making it less of a pain to settle than the previous nights. A few minutes pass by and the two guys are finally in the tent, soaked from the rain. Johnny starts to eat the sandwich they prepared earlier, shivering from cold. Gyro takes the first initiative to pull off his shirt and wring it to dry it off. Johnny doesn't think about that so quickly, as he is too focused on staring at Gyro's broad shoulders and well built torso. He doesn't feel hungry actually,  there is another feeling in his stomach.

Gyro, looking at the poor freezing Johnny: You're gonna catch a cold, dry your clothes and take the blanket in my bag.

Johnny complies and put off his jacket and shirt, wringling it dry. He feels ashamed of his thinner body due to his lack of exercise after the incident. Gyro, on his side, keeps undressing until he's only in his boxers and with his jacket on. He then wraps himself in his own blanket while cuddling his teddy bear. Johnny doesn't comply to that, as he puts his clothes back and dives under his own warm blanket. Gyro eats his sandwich, leaving crumbs on his part of the tent. Johnny already wants to sleep, he is trembling and his face is red.

Johnny: Wh... why haven't we check the weather b...Before going on that... silly trip ?

Gyro glances at Johnny, smirking: oh, I thought you were shaking of fear from the toe-eating Spiders. My bad. Are you really that cold ?

Johnny shakes his head, he doesn't want to look weak in front of Gyro, he feels embarassed: Just a chill... But I'm...I'm fine, and if I see a...a spider I'll make you know.

He turns his back to Gyro, snuggling under his comfort  blanket, an mumbles a small "G'night". Gyro turns out his flashlight and wishes him a good night back, knowing damn well Johnny  feels cold. As the light goes out and the rumors of nature become the only sound to hear, both boys were still very far from sleeping...
