chapter 2

I woke up in the middle of the night when i had a bad dream about my memories. Gosh i hate being black why cant i be white. i woke up next to Johnny beside me on the couch his arms wrap around me he was so warm but i have to admitted he seem really shy and really jumping i wonder why. I getting up letting go of Johnny embrace and went to the bathroom. once i got in there i look my self in the mirror thinking

" why am i here " i keep saying to my self

"Maybe i should leave yea that i good idea" thinking as i left the bathroom to get my stuff and leave i see Johnny starting to wake.

JOHNNY P.O.V

When i found Shanquie some socs was jumping her i told Steve and soda to save her. they ask me why help her because she was black but i didn't care when i saw the switchblades out i beg them to help her so they gave in and help. They already stab her when we got there and the socs left long time and when i look at her she look so peaceful sleeping its like i fell in love with her i didn't care what colour she was. I woke from a sound and i started not seeing Shanquie and look up seeing her leave i wondering why she was leaving.

 ''Where you going Shanqiue.''

'' Umm..... I just going out for a walk .''

''Well can i come with you since I'm up.''

'Sure johnnycake.''

We left the house i can tell that Shanqiue was lying but i didn't want to brother her and she also look like her side still hurting her.

''Are you okay Shanqiue do you want to go home.'' i said quietly

She just shoke her head and we kept walking. As we were walking i was thinking how beautiful this girl was in the moonlight i wanted her so badly but i don't think she wants me either way cause of my colour her colour we cant be together its not possible it just cant happened ever maybe in the future but for now we cant every be together.

'' Johnny. ''

'' Yea. ''

'' Are you okay. ''

'' Yea just thinking '' i said quietly

'' oh '' Shanqiue said as we walk until we saw the park

'' i love the park lets go johnny.'' she grab me and we ran to the park.  She went down the slide went on the monkey bars and was on the teetotaller this is so hype I love her energy.

'' Why are you standing there come Johnny.'' i  didn't realize i was standing there until she told me to come play with her  I ran to Shanqiue as she was on the swings and i push her a few times and I went to my own swing forgetting all the problem with everything just playing with Shanqiue.

SHANQIUE P.O.V

I remember that its 2 in the morning and my side was started to hurt me again and i wanted to lay down maybe my plan didn't work but i did have a lot of fun with johnny.

'' Johnny lets go my side is hurting again.''

''Okay we should hurry then.'' johnny said

We started walking  back to the Curtis house i felt that something was up with this neighbourhood like there people who watch us. I was starting to get scared and i wanted to get back to the Curtis place fast. i saw a red mustang coming up and boy did that  mustang look nice and the next thing you knew there was three boys coming out of the car and walking to us.

'' run!!! '' johnny said  i can see the fear in his eyes and he was as white as a ghost its like those boys done something to him. I fallow Johnny as we ran back to the Curtis but when i look behind i see the three boys running after us I saw them toke out there switchblade and i book it for my life i been hurt enough for one night i dont want to get hurt again. When we were on block away from the Curtis i look back and see the boys were gone.

'' Johnny Johnny the gone.'' we stop to catch there breath and johnny started crying why was he crying.

''Johnny what wrong.''

'' They hurt me Shanqiue they jump me few months back i thought it was going to happened again those boys almost kill me Shanqiue i- ''

I just hugged Johnny i was calming him down rubbing his back i haven't seen a boy cry before in my whole life i just felt back like he was an outcast or something like how black people are because there lives are just like mines but what am i talking about i been throw a lot just because of the colour of my skin.

''Johnny lets take you back to the Curtis.''

'' Okay.''

When we got home we just lay on the couch cuddling i don't know why i just felt like to cuddling him he didn't mind tho we cuddle on the couch until i fell asleep the last thing i remember is holding hands.
