ANYTIME BEFORE THE FINAL BATTLE

Possible manga spoilers (not sure if you would call it one or not)

I put Call your Name up there because I was listening to it while writing, thought it fit it kinda, and I added a little sneaky bit..

"WHY WON'T YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME?"

"I'VE DONE NOTHING BUT LISTEN, YOU WON'T EVEN GIVE ME TWO SECONDS TO SPEAK!"

"WHY DID I MARRY YOU? OF ALL PEOPLE, IT HAD TO BE YOU!"

"W-what.. what do you mean..? "

"What I mean, is that I hate you, and I should of never married you." With that, he left the house without another word.

I was heartbroken, I couldn't believe he said that. I needed some time to cool off. I couldn't stay in the house after he said that. I needed to take a walk.

I slowly left the house, looking up at the stars. The moon was beautiful tonight, no doubt. I p walked towards the forest near the village we lived in. It had always calmed me.

Despite it being night, I thought that it would be alright if I wondered through the forest to get my mind off of things.

Timeskip

Sanemi's POV:

I understand that I was way too harsh on her. What I said was not true. I loved her with all my heart and I can't imagine my life without her.

I was on my way back from a mission, walking through the forest near where we lived, I had to get back home quickly to apologise to Y/n, hopefully she'd understand.

As I walked through the forest, deep in thought, I saw some blood splattered on the floor, then noticed a trail of it. I ran down the path, ready to draw my sword, fearful that it is a demon attack.

I ran down the path, and I saw a demon on top of a person, though I couldn't see who it was, I assumed it was someone from the village where Y/n and I live, as nobody else would be wondering this area so late at night.

The demon turned around and saw me, quickly running at me, after it move, I saw who it was being attacked by the demon, and my heart sank.

Y/n.

It was Y/n.

I was frozen in shock, until the demon swing its class at me, scratching me, and snapping me back into reality.

I quickly defeated the demon, and went towards my wife's body, holding her in my arms, as I checked for a pulse, sighing in relief when I found it.

"Hey, Y/n. Y/n, babe, can you hear me?" I called out desperately, needing her to stay alive.

"S-sanemi.." I heard her stutter, but I just hugged her quickly, and applied pressure on her worst injuries .

"Shh, it's ok, darling, I'm here. It's gonna be ok.. your gonna be ok.. don't die on me, Y/n, please.."

"I love you.."

"I love you too.. so so so much.. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean what I said.. your the best wife I could be asked for.. you don't deserve me.." I told her, tears running rapidly down my face.

I saw her smile after I said this, and she went limp in my arms, "Y-Y/n.. Y/n... Y/N!"

Timeskip

I stood, looking at the grave in front of me, trying desperately not to sob, not wanting to attract attention to myself.

It's all my fault. If I hadn't started that stupid argument in the first place, she would still be here.

Where is my lover? Why did she have to leave me?

Timeskip, 100 years later

(I couldn't find/can't remember what Sanemi's  descendants/reincarnations name after the 100 year timeskip, so he will still be called Sanemi.)

Your POV:

I was walking through my school, going to meet my friends for lunch, when I bumped into someone, falling on the floor.

I looked up, and saw the boy's hand stretched out, offering it to me, which I accepted.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. Sorry, I'm Y/n, what's your name?"

"Y-yeah.." He seemed deep in thought, " s-sorry, I wasn't looking at where I was going either. I'm Sanemi.. "
