Christopher has been walking me around town for about 15 minutes now, and we have been walking incredibly slowly without a word.

was he trying to stall?

was he trying to make time for something?

give someone time?

"hey, um..." he muttered as we came to a stop in front of a shop ive never seen before. "do you like flowers teresa?"

"yes, why? doesnt every girl?"

"thats good, i was just asking," he said confidently as he pulled out his phone, pressed a few buttons, then put it in his pocket.

"who were you texting?" i asked curiously.

"just a friend," he replied in a strange mysterious tone.

we walked for annother few minutes before we came to an old abandoned house. the paint was scratched off, windows smashed and it looked like the grass hadnt been cut in months. the moonlight lit the house brightly, but also gave it a creepy look.

christopher turned to me, put his hands on my hips and looked into my eyes.

"this place is my sacred, second home. it was abandoned, and i fixed up the inside. id like to take you in, if thats okay. promise me you wont tell anyone about it."

my god he looked amazing in this light.

"uh, okay."

he took my hand and took me up the creaky stairs. the front door looked like it hadnt been opened in years, it had spider webs all over it, which christopher quickly cleared away.

he opened the door and we stepped in. i heard his hands run along the wall of the dark room until he found the switch.

the light flickered a bit, then i was blinded by the light.

christopher held my hand tighter as i focused my eyes. i looked around the room. my eyes widened at the beautiful sight. the hall was full of flowers, not just any flowers; roses, my favourite.

"wow, theyre beautiful, but how did you know i like roses?"

"i told you, i know more about you than you think."

i looked around the room agaim, dumbfounded and walked over to a bunch of red roses.

christopher pulled out a single rose, snapped the stem to make it shorter, and put it in my hair.

"pretty flower, for a pretty girl."

i turned my head away from him in disbeleif, but with a small blush.

"come with me," he said with that amazing voice of his, as he took my hand.

i followed him down the hall, and up some stairs. this house looked like a disaster from outside, but everything was new and beautiful on the inside.

christopher took me to a room and he opened the door.

"ladies first," he said, gesturing inside.

i smiled and walked in. yet annother beautiful room. it was lit with candles and there was a table in the centre with some black roses as the centrepeice.

christopher pulled out a chair and i sat in it, once i was comfortable he sat opposite me.

he pulled out his phone again, and pressed a few more buttons, then put it in his pocket once again.

"who do you keep texting?"

"youll figure it out".

as soon as he said that a door in the back of the room opened and a man in a suit came out. he pushed a trolley which held a plate and a cover and set it down on the table.

"dinner is served," he said and removed the cover.

"chris. you dont have to go through all this trouble, but this is amazing".

"only the best for you."

i removed the cover from the plate in front of me and, again, i saw one of my favourites. spaghetti bog.

"are you stalking me cris?"

"teresa, why would i do that? i cant beleive you still dont remember me. silly, silly."

"sorry... when did i know you?" i asked, scooping up some spaghetti.

"ill let you figure that one out."

for the rest of dinner we talked about our futures, what we wanted to be and how we would get there.

he told me that he wants to be a psychiatrist and help people who need it. i was wondering where i knew him from, but as the night progressed, looking into his eyes, he began to become more and more familiar.

the night was perfect. i loved every minute of it. after dinner christopher walked me home.

walking home we were still talking about our futures, but i had noticed people on the street were staring at us.

why were they doing that? was there something on my face?

christopher put his arm around my shoulder and all thoughts of the public disapeared.

he was so warm. i loved it.

we made it to my house and i didnt want to leave his perfection.

he hugged me tightly and said goodnight. i walked to my front door and looked back to him.

where was he? it takes five seconds to walk to my door, and he managed to disapear. what?

i went inside, and crawled into my bed with one of the biggest smiles ive had glued on my face for a very long time.
