Regirock's body is incredibly resilient to physical damage but if it ever needs repairs, it replaces one of its parts using a nearby rock or stone. Mineral rich rocks can grant temporary special properties like different Dust crystals giving its attacks different effects. It tends to be unintentionally rough around people it doesn't know, leading it to having trouble making friends.

Regirock lost the capacity to repair itself with rocks. No matter how hard it tries, it can't stay in one piece, although it has gained minor telekinetic control over its broken component rocks. It uses this newfound power to launch said components at foes, pinning them down under their weight.

Regihollow (Rock-Ghost) The Excavator Pokemon

When Regirode comes into contact with enough Gravity Dust Crystals, it evolves into Regihollow, now having full control over its innate telekinetic abilities thanks to the center of gravitational force in the hole in its torso. Its hands replicate the function of industrial excavators, pulling up mass amounts of raw material which Regihollow hauls away to be processed by Regiwaste. Its telekinesis allows it to compress carbon into sharp crystals similar to Diancie's diamonds, but the key difference is that with Regihollow, it has to be on or in the ground.
