It had been a week since Monica had visited Coop and his family, i.e. her family.
It was night, a quiet night. The Burtonburger family slept peacefully, but a motorcycle passed under the window of Burt's room. The man woke up to the noise. He put on his glasses and went out the living room door. The woman stopped right in front of the man, got off the motorcycle and her eyes met Burt's even through the helmet. The woman took off her helmet. To Burt's astonishment, standing before him was none other than his dead/missing wife, Monica. He froze, and he almost had a heart attack, and he was unable to utter a single word, but Monica broke the silence.
Monica: Hi Burt! Did you miss me?- Burt woke up gasping from his sleep.
The "forester woman" and the motorbiker left a deep impression on him, although he thinks the two are one and the same person. And deep down, he knows who it reminds him of. When he heard the forester woman speak, it immediately struck him that her voice was similar to Monica's, and her face was similar. But he didn't dare say it out loud like that, because then it would confirm the fact that he was trying to bury in himself, he wasn't over her.
Burt: Come on, this doesn't make any sense, she can't be Monica, she couldn't even ride a motorcycle. Pull yourself together Burton, you're going to dinner with Ms. Branningan. Yes, I must have had this dream because I'm nervous about dinner, because it's been a long time since I've been alone with a woman.-he thought to himself.
The next morning, Burt was getting ready for work, and Coop to Dennis's place. (It's still summer vacation)
Coop: Dad, I'm having breakfast at Dennis' today.
Burt: You never used to eat breakfast at the Dennis's.
Coop: Exactly, we need some variety.
Burt: All right son...
Millie: Compared to going to dinner with Ms. Brannigan after work today, you're not in a good mood, what's wrong?
Burt: I'm ok, I just didn't sleep very well. - This wasn't the first time he dreamed about her, it happened often since his death/disappearance, but not lately. Burt believed that this was how she visited her and communicated with her. It's just that the current dream was too lifelike, as if she had really returned. He had been waiting for this day so that he could spend time alone with Ms. Brannigan.
Just as Coop was waiting for this day, the day of the interrogation, but he didn't want to count the chickens before they are hatched, he knows that this does not mean that he will get rid of the purple rat once and for all. But Coop wants to know more about his mother. He hadn't managed to talk about it with Burt even now, because he was always diverting the topic, although he found it strange that his son had started asking about him again recently. That's why Coop decided to have breakfast today at the Dennis's and see if he would tell more about his mother.
Breakfast at Dennis's was quite simple. Jam toast. Henry and Dennis's mother were also sitting at the table, although the situation was a bit strange, since Coop had never had breakfast with them, even though he and Dennis had been friends for a long time.
Dennis: Dad, can you tell us about Coop and Millie's mom?
Henry: About Coop and Millie's mom? I don't think I should do this.
Coop: But dad doesn't want to say anything about it.
Henry: Is he really doesn't tell you anything about the mother of his children? What kind of father is that? Okay. So, her name was Monica Salib.
Coop: Was mom Arab?
Henry: She was half-Egyptian, from your grandfather's side, who is an archaeologist and also teaches at a university. They lived in Egypt because of your grandfather's work until your grandparents divorced. Your grandmother got a job as an English teacher at the school here, and she was born here, went to primary school and high school here. And your mom had a younger brother, George.
