Finding Evergreen from Magnolia when only having a clue that she had gone shopping might've been a task impossible for anyone. Anyone except Laxus and the rest of the Thunder Legion.

Their little group was a lot more close-knit than anyone could even imagine. It was because of their nature, how they had their own weird quirks which easily made other people not really willing to interact with them. While others wanted to draw away from them, they leaned against each other even more and became closer.

For longest time it made them bitter as they were simply misunderstood. Over time that feeling got worse and worse, not wanting to hang out with others since they didn't want to do that with them anyway. Until one day, not even realizing it, they really were just as bad as people were thinking they were. No, they were even worse since they had gotten so engulfed by their own imagination of what people were thinking and talking about them. The more bitter they got, the more flame those imaginations got.

That was their own fault, they understood it now. Since then they had always done their best to improve their images, make sure everyone knew they were not the kind of villains they once were. They wanted to really be part of their Fairy Tail family.

Yet still, when being with someone like Asuka who was showing no fear at all towards them, it did feel sort of confusing.

First they went through some of Evergreen's favourite shops but did not find the Fairy Mage. They went through a few coffee shops where she might be, but found no clue of her.

"It's like hide and seek", Asuka giggled when they were heading towards another shop.

"Yeah, I guess it is", Laxus nodded. It was good to see Asuka was feeling more excited than defeated because they had not yet found Evergreen.

Suddenly Asuka noticed something and she smiled widely. Laxus and Freed chuckled when they too noticed a familiar tall figure.

"Bickslow!" Asuka called and she ran towards the Seith Mage who seemed to twitch and then he looked around until finally noticing them.

"Asuka! Baby!" the man laughed loudly and picked the girl up, spinning her around. "You've come to rescue me, right?"

"Rescue you from what?" Asuka asked and she was worried.

"Oh it's been horrible!" Bickslow wailed when Laxus and Freed came closer. "I've been treated like a mule! All the time just walking and carrying things and -"

"Just shut up, you idiot", they heard an annoyed voice.

They looked at Evergreen who was frowning.

"I simply asked you to carry a few bags, nothing else", she said and pointed a few bags Bickslow had set down when picking up Asuka.

"They're heavy bags..." Bicksow muttered.

"They are not! You wanted my help so now you help me with these! Hi Asuka", Evergreen smiled to the girl. "Oh, you're doing something with Laxus and Freed?" she asked when looking at the men.

"Laxus is babysitting Asuka", Freed explained.

"Really? And Bisca and Alzack know about it?" Evergreen asked and Bickslow snorted.

"Doesn't matter, we're taking care of Asuka today", Laxus grunted.

"We?"

"Yeah, we."

Evergreen sighed. Guess they had no choice but to help Laxus out, she wasn't sure if she trusted the Lightning Dragon Slayer to handle this alone anyway.
