Author POV-

All the students were gathered in the great hall after their summer holiday.

They were all waiting for Dumbledore to come up to the front and give his announcements like always.

Voices, loud shouting, whispering all were heard throughout the hall and it all went silent as soon as Dumbledore had stepped up at the front.

He was waiting for all the students to pay attention to him. Heads were all turned in his direction and Dumbledore cleared his throat.

"As you all may have heard, Voldemort has returned and is seeking revenge however we are going to make sure that the school is safely secured."

"We know for a fact that he is in hiding, therefore we are safe."

Many students were whispering to each other and Dumbledore spoke a bit louder.

"But! I can assure you that this school is well protected so there is no need for any worry."

"Enough with the serious new, enjoy your feast." He stepped off the podium and sat down on his seat of where he always would sit.

Many students turned back around and started to eat but occasionally stop to talk about what Dumbledore had just announced.

At the Gryffindor table. Harry was holding the soaked cloth on his nose. It was covered in blood but he was still using it.

Hermione watched Harry try and stop his nose bleed.

Hermione sighed in annoyance as Ron had started to eat immediately.

"Ron! You friend here is bleeding and you are just eating!"

Ron stopped and swallowed his half chewed food. "He is fine Hermione, you saying as if he has never gotten hurt before."

Hermione shook her head and turned to Harry again. "Should we be worried?"

Harry looked at Hermione and he had a questioned look in his face. "Probably.

Like always he is definitely going to have stay up all night, getting into my head." He mumbled the last part.

"Harry, you should really talk to Dumbledore about your nightmares you had in the summer." Hermione persisted on that.

Harry shook his head. "There is no point Hermione, you know that."

Hermione sighed and took a bite of her food. She kept quiet and read her book.

Harry was too tired to bother about eating and he sat there and look forward.

He took the cloth away from his nose and set it infornt of his empty space on the table.

He saw the other tables, Hufflepuff was being energetic, Ravenclaw were being chatty.

Then he looked at the Slytherin table, there he saw the tall blond who had given him this bleeding and nearly broken nose.

He continued to stare at him and watched as he was staring at the table with cold dull eyes.

He noticed how he was disengaged from everyone from his house. Normally he would be boasting about that fact that he managed to break Harry Potter's nose.

He continued to stare and didn't notice that Hermione and even Ron had stopped what they were doing to look at him.

"Mate, are you okay?" Harry was snapped back and looked at Ron. "Uhh...what?"

"Are you done staring at Malfoy. You haven't touched your food, all you have been doing is to look at him ever since."

Harry's face became a light shade of pink. "I...umm..." He was stuttering over his words. "Well, are you done?"
