6 - Falling for you

Neymar's POV
I would be lying right now if I said I wasn't extremely jealous. I felt like some sort of stalker, sitting in my car and watching them. But they kissed.

Cindy was my ex girlfriend, I don't know why I had decided to invite her over but maybe I was feeling lonely. When Gabriella stood next to her, I knew who I truly wanted. Cindy looked so cheap in comparision to her. Gabriella was beautiful.

"Look Cindy, I'm sorry. I can't do this" I said as soon as the door had shut and the sound of Gabriella's car racing down the road filled my ears. She was going to meet Marc now.

Cindy was practically stood naked in front of me but now I was pushing her advances away. I had invited her over for something quick. To get my mind off the fact that Marc was going to meet Gabriella. But now I couldn't do it. Maybe I was being crazy but the look on Gabriella face as she left made me think maybe she was a little jealous?

"Neymar .. what are you doing here?" Gabriella asked her perfect features scrunched up in confusion. Her lips were were plump and were slightly red after kissing Marc.
Now I felt stupid. How stupid was I to think that Gabriella was jealous?

I turned around on my heel not saying anything and made my way over to my car ignoring them both calling my name.

I felt someone grab my arm and I turned around to see Gabriella looking at me her eyes slightly concerned.

"Neymar what's wrong?" She said completely oblivious to my feelings for her. This was harder than I thought.

Neymar was acting strange. Very strange. Marc had left us now, waving goodbye to me and telling me he would see me at practice tomorrow. The kiss, unexpected but I can't deny I didn't like it. Marc was a good looking guy, heck Neymar was good looking too but I really didn't want to just be a 'wag'. I wanted more than that with my life and it would have to take some pretty amazing footballer to change that..

"Look, Gabriella can you just come with me a second.. please?" He said his hazel eyes glancing at mine nervously.
I followed him and noticed he was taking me to La Verde, one of Barcelona's most beautiful parks'. It was literally secluded right now as it was almost dark, but it was so peaceful and the sound of the river running through it was almost quite romantic.

"There is the girl that I love.." he started of by saying as we both sat down on the grass beside the river.
His voice seemed nervous, not the typical image of Neymar I had pictured in my head before I had met him. I used to think he seemed a bit cocky and maybe even a little arrogant but now I had met him he wasn't how I imagined him to be.

"We're friends.. but she doesn't know I love her" he added his eyes breaking contact with mine and staring at the ground.

"Was it the girl that I saw at your house? Because you sure looked more than friends to me" I smirked biting my lip slightly to control myself from letting out a snort.
His eyes widened slightly before he let out a loud sigh.
"No, no.. she's.. an ex. But this girl is different, she's like no other girl I have ever met before" his cheeks had gone a slight pink and he was now biting on his lip again.
I could imagine the girl he was talking about was very beautiful. By the way he described her she was probably some sort of supermodel or something.

"I don't want to ruin the friendship between me.. and her" he said after a few seconds of silence.
"What should I do?" His beautiful hazel eyes glanced back into mine, his head tilted slightly as he waited for my reply.
I was surprised that he was asking someone like me for advice but it felt nice.

"You need to tell her Neymar. She needs to know. How can you expect anything to happen if she doesn't know a thing?"

He stared back at me behind his long eyelashes for a few seconds longer than usual and nodded.

"You are right Gabriella, you are right"

Neymar POV

Little did Gabriella know the girl I was talking about was her.

But I was going to tell her, just like she had told me to do.

I just hoped that she felt the same way too.

Hi Everyone!
Wow I haven't updated in such a long time! I'm really sorry!
I have been caught up in so many exams and stuff I just haven't had the time.
I also had some really bad writers block but managed this chapter haha ;)

So Neymar is finally going to tell Gabriella his feelings for her!..
