Chapter 6

Field Trip!

"I'll take him from here Midoriya, congrats on passing! I'm sorry for Bakugo's behavior, I tried to stop him." I try to explain to him as I help carry Katsuki to Recovery Girl.

"It's okay Terrafor! To be honest I don't think anyone can control his rage." Izuku replies, scratching the back of his head nervously.

"Call me Tessa, and don't tell Katsuki that I told you this but, he does care for you. He just has some serious pride issues." I explained while walking alongside Izuku to the med bay, he insisted that he'd go too. It seemed like All Might really didn't hold back on them too much.

"Thank you Tessa, I needed to hear that." Shortly after, I left Recovery Girl's office after Katsuki woke up. I slapped him upside the head for not listening to me and scolded that he better apologize to Izuku immediately.

That night, I walked home alone since Katsuki was forced to stay the night in the Recovery Bay to heal up. I had always loved the night walks,, the peaceful serenity of the environment never failed to amuse me.

I took a detour through the park, being close to my quirk's element always helped soothe me. As I pass by under the low hanging branches, I caress their leaves, making them flourish under my touch.

Halfway through the park's forest, I hear rustling coming from behind me to the left. Quickly, I turn around and get into a defensive stance while scanning the area.

I didn't see anything out in the open so I used my earthly quirk to part bushes from a far. Once I cleared al the bushes, I relaxed my stance. I take a deep breathe to calm myself, coming to the conclusion that I'm just being paranoid with the stress after the exam.

With that, I continued my walk back home. Thoughts of the exam pass through my head as I think of the different ways where I could have helped more or improve next time.

My alarm blares, waking me up for school. I groan, slamming my hand down on my phone to shut the alarm off. I had barely gotten any sleep due to me having to clean the house, I knew I shouldn't have stayed at Katsuki's house the night before.

I quickly get ready get ready for the day and sneak out of the house, careful not to wake up my "parents" from their drunken slumber. As I slowly close the door, making sure not to make a noise, I can't but help but feel as if someone is watching me. I survey the area but don't find anyone.

"Hey Tess." I hear as a hand is placed on my shoulder. I scream and grab the hand, flipping the person behind me over my shoulder and onto the floor. I heard a groan come from the person and it finally registered who it was.

"Katsuki! Oh my god! I am so sorry!" I help him up off the floor while he glares at me. "You were supposed to be in the med bay for another day! I didn't expect you to be here." I put my hands on his shoulders and looked over him to see if I hurt him anymore. Not seeing anything wrong, I drop my hands.

"She released me early, I'm not fragile." He grunts, "Whatever, we were invited to the mall by the extras. Let's get this over with." I frown at him, crossing my arms in the process.

"You know, it wouldn't hurt to make friends Katsuki." He scoffs in response, walking ahead of me. I jog to catch up to him.
